Let me start with the positives: the food was nice and, based on all the good reviews, I hope we just happened to catch it on a not-so-great day. As per rule, Brazilian restaurants in London are far from cheap and this one is no exception, but the portions are very reasonably sized. Unless you're absolutely starving, ordering a couple of starters and one main course to share should suffice. Now let's talk service: the waitress was very nice and helpful... if you could get her attention. She was the ONLY person serving the entire restaurant and that was simply not enough. Obviously service was slow and you could actually hear your order being passed on even 5 minutes after you had actually made it. We ordered one of the specials and incredible 15 MINUTES LATER were informed that they had ran out! At that point we were already expecting the food to hit the table. And to make it even more amusing, we were charged for the dish that never came, on a bill that alone took another century to reach us. Just before leaving, I tried to have a nice chat to the waitress regarding her solo endeavour, to which she replied "No, it's fine. I can handle it." Well, considering that was the slowest service we had experienced in a long while, she very obviously couldn't. At this point I was still thinking that maybe we would come back and try another day, but as I headed to the door and thanked her, I still had to hear "Yeah, unfortunately we can't please everyone", nailing the coffin shut. I will not be back, but sincerely wish better luck on your journey to Brazilian Gourmet.

I was sold spoiled food and I was told that the problem was my taste buds! I had a very bad experience with this restaurant, I ordered a chicken pastel with catupiry and I must say that I was surprised with the first order, the pastel came very good and well done! Then I ordered again at another opportunity. There was not a good experience, apart from the neglect when calling the restaurant! We received a pastry with the spoiled chicken, with sour smell, sour taste, leaving a gooey liquid around the stuffing, and no soft cheese - which in this case was not even a big problem. I called the restaurant to report what happened, after all, it would be a matter of risk for other people to consume food that is out of date. The attendant said there was nothing wrong and their pastries were like that, he said my taste buds had a problem, which was pretty infuriating to say the least! What's more, other people have "consumed" the pastel (we ordered in 4 ), so everyone has problematic taste buds? After a few minutes, still unhappy, I called again and the same attendant told me that he was working with a new chef and that he would talk to her, but that the chicken was normal. So I said that I would send the images and videos of the pastel by WhatsApp, so that they could observe the state of the chicken and so that they wouldn't sell it to other people without finding out. After I sent the photos, the guy replied: that the gooey liquid was from the meat itself! Food poisoning happens because of this kind of irresponsibility! Unfortunate!

A wonderful, authentic and friendly Brazilian restaurant, tucked away just a short walk from Central London. Often overlooked and under promoted, Brazilian cuisine features some delicious rustic savoury dishes. We had a 2 course meal for lunch, which left us very full, happy and reminiscing about holidays to Brazil. We started with a bowl of Mandioca to share, a native root vegetable that is deep fried in oil and served with chilli sauce. Similar to chunky potato chips, Mandioca is a novel and tasty alternative. We ordered Picanha Grelhada for our main, a grilled sirloin steak served with salad, farofa and the essential rice/beans. The steak (medium) was cooked perfectly and the whole dish was delicious and authentic. In a surprising (but welcome) turn, we had two medium sized steaks per plate. The service was excellent, catering for an allergy with care and attention. Thoroughly recommend the short walk to this little gem to try something different from the usual restaurants.

I walk pass this little Brazilian restaurant every morning and decided to pop in for brunch one fine day.

Let's talk about the design concept of this place. A lot of their furniture is made out of recyclable materials. Their lights and seats outside are made out of large paint cans. They use old wine and spirit bottles as candle holders, the entire interior is made out of wood and walls plastered with vintage posters and newspaper. Their glassware adds a very classic and vintage-y atmosphere. If you head all the way to the back, there's an roof window that allows sunlight in. I LOVE IT!

Brunch. I haven't had mango or papaya in ages! And this place just had the right amount of meat and tropical fruits served on a fancy ass wooden bark tray! I got an English breakfast (LOL) and it came with two perfect sunny side ups, sausages and my own little pot of beans! cries

My partner got the Brazilian brunch set that came with a variety of cheese and ham, served with tropical juice of your choice. We got the mango smoothie, it was thick and delicious!

I can't say much about their lunch or dinner (clearly cause I haven't had any), but the breakfast and brunch selection seems to be good. Coffee was ok, complimented our food though.

The service is good. It's like going to your best friend's house and the mum just wants you to be fed. It's a really comfortable and...

Avoid at all costs!! I had the most unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

When I arrived there was only one table taken, but still the staff took a while to come over to take my order. I ordered 3 items, 1 of which never arrived. Two staff members were arguing with each other throughout my time there, making the atmosphere very heavy. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I was lucky enough that another member of staff was passing by my table and asked her to cancel this item as I had to go. From that moment onwards she made the atmosphere heavy too as she claimed that it takes 25 minutes to make it. The problem is that no one told me this when I made the order and there was nothing about it on the menu either. The poor customer expectation management in itself would've been enough for anyone to want to leave, but it did get even worse: when she brought the bill I asked for the discretionary service charge to be removed as I couldn't have all items I had ordered. She said she couldn't believe it and asked if I was serious. I stood my ground despite feeling deeply uncomfortable.

I would give ZERO stars to this place if I could. No apologies from the staff at any point, no checking in to see if it was all ok after bringing the other items, overall just appalling customer service. They have a...
