KFC Romford - South Street — Restaurant in London

Desperate to give Negative for their PATHETIC Service!! First and foremost the hygiene wasn’t even existing and it seemed like the store hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. Coming to staff who are absolutely worst and lack training for everything literally no customer service no time management no cleanliness maintenance and the list goes on! They made me wait for ages and who aren’t even aware what they are doing and never even know how to talk or behave with customers one of them was really rude and team leader is just enjoying the disrespectful behaviour of their staff. Couldn’t even get to see a glance of manager to report their worst service. Coming to food, a whole lot of disaster. I’m the person who respect food and hospitality but this branch lacked both and the kfc wasn’t even tasted like kfc from other branches it’s been ages I’m having kfc and this was a complete blender. The staff may not be even know the recipe in order. The oil which was used may be haven’t even changed for years I could get the pungent taste from oil from smell and every bite which was evidential that they care less for the company policy. They are very slow most of the times, even when they don't have many customers. They also mess up orders half of the times, and the food is sometimes cold and almost always old (worked in 2 kfcs so I know how to tell when the food is old quite easily)

The shop itself is kinda alright at the moment, but it's almost always full of rubbish everywhere, with the only bin available being always full

UPDATE: the speed of service is ok when there's no other customers there and extremely slow when it gets even slightly busy

The shop is constantly very dirty with rubbish and left over food on almost every table and all over the floor

The staff also ignores everyone waiting for food and some are even rude. There's been two occasions recently when they asked for my phone to do the survey on the receipt instead of asking me to do it

UPDATE MAY 2025: they now seem to have completely new staff every couple of weeks, all of which seem to be rude and unaware if what they're doing.

The prices also seem to go up every time I come here, and it's become way too expensive, especially when you now get cold burgers for £6+ and cold, flavourless chips

It seems like they intentionally get worse and want to go bankrupt, especially with the ridiculous prices...

Many items missing off my order, had to keep getting up again and again. couldn't tell at first because there was just a load of bags thrown on a dirty tray nothing seperated In it's own box like you expect in other kfcs

Paid extra for milkshakes and got told there wasn't any after I paid. Then manager said they just need to let the machine kick in 5 mins. So we wait. Eat all our food without a drink which took about 25 mins then get told it's not working.

So I ask for a refund of the extra charge and the drinks were owed for our original meals and got told "i don't want to refund as it's too early in the day for a void, but I can go I've you more chicken?" No mate that's not how trading standards work.
