L'Angelo London — Restaurant in London

The first time I came, I ordered the all day English breakfast for £9. It came with toast, an egg, beans, sausage, bacon, and a choice with coffee or tea— I ordered the coffee. Honestly you can’t beat the price for what you’re getting and they make it fresh to order so the food tastes great. It was my first time actually having an English breakfast and I really quite enjoyed the one they served here.

The next time we came, I ordered their Eggs Royale. It was two eggs on two slices of toast and covered with a good helping of smoked salmon and served with a lemon wedge and a choice of coffee or tea again. This was also super tasty and fresh, I really appreciated the amount of smoked salmon they gave me too, it was really delicious and filling.

Overall, they have a very delicious all day breakfast for a very reasonable price! It’s quite tasty and the couple working are very friendly as well. They have a pretty large menu to choose from and multiple as lunch items too. It’s unfortunate that we are just visiting for holiday because this spot is a real gem, hopefully we get to come back here again...

L’Angelo is a little gem of a cafe.

Run by the owner and his wife, a Portuguese couple. Very friendly and chatty.

Huge selection of sandwich fillings hot and cold which you can have in a sandwich, a bagel, a small roll, a baguette or a panini. With salad and sauces, all made to order in a flash.

Plus cafe staples of fried breakfast, lasagna etc.

On the sweet side they have muffins, cakes and the Portuguese gift to mankind, Pastel de Nata.

An oasis in the corporate morass that is contemporary Islington. Not remotely hip or trendy, this place is wonderfully old-fashioned, offering a simple menu of no-frills food that is cooked to petfection.
