This branch in particular was a mess and we left feeling incredibly disrespected -First we waited a few minutes to actually be seated as all the waiters had their backs to us (it was just before 1pm so we weren’t early either) -Had our menus basically thrown down at us but this was the least aggravating point -Waited half an hour for a Salmon Bagel and a Scrambled Eggs Burrata with Mushrooms. The table next to us also waited half an hour and eventually left, which we should have done too to be honest -When the food did eventually arrive it wasn’t even warm, which begs the question of why it took so long in the first place -During our meal one of the waiters suddenly whisked away the pepper grinder without a word, this happened by the waiter grabbing the grinder and taking it away above our heads -When asking for service charge to be taken off (13.5%, which is higher than average too), we had at least three waiters huddling over the bill -When what seemed like the manager came over for the final bill, he mumbled something about training staff, which does not excuse any of the service (or lack of) we received today. -What the cherry on the cake was the manager then proceeding to take a photo of the table next to us BY HOLDING THEIR PHONE IN BETWEEN OUR TABLE. Not a word of apology or warning, just swooped the phone in between mine and my mother’s faces and jovially took (many) photographs for the adjacent table. Not sure if it was due to us asking for service charge to be taken off or if this would have happened regardless, but really shows the appalling treatment of the staff towards paying customers. Seems overall that the whole place is more focused on Deliveroo orders than actual dine-in guests. Also they don’t take Amex as a forewarning to anyone reading this far. Regret not having gone to Ottolenghi not too far away as we usually do. Incredibly disrespectful and won’t be...
Read moreTerrible business, I will never visit any of your cafes again! Don’t go! They double charged me on two separate credit cards for the payment of my bill, they are dismissing me continuously and not refunding the second charging of my card. According to what the staff tell me, because I keep ringing, is that this happens all the time! We visited to L’eto Cafe Belgravia on 10 West Halkin Street 8 days ago for Sunday brunch. When the bill came I extended a card for payment and I was told payment was ‘not authorised’ so the waitress asked for another card and I paid the bill fully with the second credit card. When I came home I realised I was also charged on the first card which was supposedly not authorised. The next day I rang the branch, I was told this happens all the time!! So I was asked to send an email to their info address. I sent them both payment slips and bank statements, no one responded for three days. I kept on ringing the Brompton Road branch where I was told the operations manager is usually present. I wasn’t able to reach him at all but the employees at the café probably let him know that I kept ringing so he responded to me saying a refund was being processed and would be made to me within up to 5 working days. Once the 5 working days were over and no one responded again I kept ringing and emailing with no response. In the end I decided to write to the WhatsApp contact number that was on their website. Again they said they got in touch with the franchise company operating at Belgravia and that they would get back to me. There is still no response,no resolution nor a refund. I am complaining about L’eto Caffe London to an independent body and I will take it further...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of indulging in the exquisite Leto Cake, and I must say it was an absolute delight! This cake truly captivated my taste buds with its heavenly combination of flavors and textures.
The first bite revealed a moist and tender cake base that was perfectly balanced with a rich, velvety chocolate ganache. The smoothness of the ganache was complemented by a delicate hint of hazelnut, adding a delightful nutty undertone to each mouthful.
The Leto Cake was a visual masterpiece as well. Its meticulously crafted presentation showcased a beautiful layering of chocolate and hazelnut, adorned with a sprinkle of finely chopped nuts on top. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
What truly sets the Leto Cake apart is its exceptional quality and attention to detail. Every ingredient seemed to be carefully selected, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving for more. The combination of chocolate and hazelnut was simply divine, and the cake’s texture was light and airy.
Overall, the Leto Cake is a true work of art, created with passion and expertise. It is a dessert that elevates any occasion, leaving a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to savor its exquisite taste. If you’re looking for a cake that embodies perfection, the Leto Cake is an...
