Pretty disappointed with our experience. I’ve been to a few greene kings before & had a great time. Popped in with my sister for a drink, the girl who greeted us was very lovely (wearing glasses). We were shown to a table then selected some wine. A guy with black hair (short on sides and longish on top) comes up to us with a card machine, no explanation, just demands payment when we haven’t even received our drinks. The drinks were ready at the bar (because I looked behind him to see if they were even made yet) and about to be brought over but it was very abrupt and felt like we were being pushed to pay before even seeing our drinks. I work in a pub and I wouldn’t ever imagine asking someone to pay without their drinks arriving especially as were all doing table service at the moment there’s no reason to. We weren’t even sat near a door and were clearly going to stay. Just felt unwelcoming. Same guy almost chased a guy out for not having a mask on when coming back from the toilet. (yes people seem to forget it’s a rule, yes it’s annoying when people forget, just ask people and they’ll do it, no need to be rude. And I understand taking payment as soon as possible but maybe take a card machine over with the drinks or just after received, not before you’ve even seen if it’s the right order). The place was also very cold, I know ideally doors need to be open but you had to wear a coat and the bar stools are very uncomfortable. We didn’t stay after our drink...

Called in to ask if dogs allowed, and was told yes. Asked whether they were showing the world cup rugby, and was told yes. Called in a second time as I was concerned the person did not put the two together, dog and rugby - same time. Second call I explained I had spoken to someone the day before and re-worded my questions to be clear, "can I bring the dog to the pub to watch the rugby with me"? and was told yes. Arrived opening ceremony of world cup with dog ready to watch rugby and was told they don't take dogs. Annoyed. Been here before and it was ok-ish, food not great but knew they would be showing the RWC. Doubt I will ever go back. Couldn't believe the attitude of the staff who made me feel like I was lying that I had ever called. I told the barman the name of the person I spoke to on the second call - he happened to be sitting having a beer after shift - and bluntly said "I would have never said that". Like he had never spoken to me. Funny that, because at the start of the call he kept on asking me would I like to speak to Tiffany. Who is Tiffany?? It didnt sound noisy whilst I was on the phone to him - it was before lunch on a weekday. And I was calling from a silent boardroom. Left...

We booked a table a week ago for a meal today for 9 people. We arrived at the pub to be seated upstairs in the restaurant. We were told to order drinks from the app, which we did and noticed nearly all of the menu was unavailable to order. After waiting over 20 mins for our drinks we went downstairs to the bar and our order had clearly gone unnoticed. We commented on the lack of food on the menu to be told it was a delivery shortage. Our drinks were finally delivered to our table and discussing the lack of food with the waitress she said there was no food because a large party of 15 had been in earlier in the day and eaten the food they had. So we are unsure as to the truth of it, the pub seemed extremely disorganised and untidy and we ended up leaving due to the lack of food to go in search of food elsewhere. This added a lot of stress to our day as we had older parents with us with limited mobility, that we had to get climb the up stairs and back down for what turned out to be no reason at all. Because of the location and the chain this pub belongs too we thought this would be a perfect way to round off a family day in London, to say we were disappointed is an...

I doth declare, the Lamb & Flag, a venerable Georgian-era establishment, hath proven to be a haven amidst the bustling streets of London! The tavern was teeming with patrons, and we thought naught that we would find respite within. But, to our delight, we secured an order in timely fashion, and what's more, they accept contactless payment, a most modern convenience in a place steeped in history. Within the modest confines of the main hall, we found a solitary table for our party. Alas, a chair was scarce, and we pondered our predicament. Yet, fortune smiled upon us, for the neighboring table's occupants, kind souls they were, noticed our plight. With mirth and warmth, they proffered a spare chair, and camaraderie blossomed in that humble corner of the Georgian-era pub. As for the standing room outside, there were ample spaces, and a few tables awaited those who preferred the open air. The geniality of the Lamb & Flag's patrons, dear compatriots, did add an extra layer of charm to our evening's experience. A resounding huzzah to such conviviality and the modern convenience of contactless payment!

I recently popped into the Lamb & Flag as "word on the street" was that they had a £12 pint and sandwich deal. I arrived at the pub and promptly opted for a pint of Amstel and a BLT sandwich, for which I was then asked to hand over 12 golden nuggets, happy days! The BLT sandwich at The Lamb and Flag Pub in Mayfair was not just a sandwich; it was a work of art. Presented with the precision of a Michelangelo masterpiece, each ingredient seemed to have its own designated spot, packed so full that even the most seasoned sandwich engineer would marvel! The bacon was crispier than a morning person before coffee, the lettuce fresher than a spring breeze, and the tomatoes juicier than a gossip session at high tea. As for the bread, it was soft to perfection, providing a sturdy foundation for this culinary masterpiece. Eating it felt like embarking on a flavor adventure, with every bite a step closer to sandwich nirvana. So, if you find yourself in Mayfair craving a sandwich that's both packed full and packed with flavour, head to The Lamb and Flag Pub - where even the BLT is a cause for celebration!

**AVOID AVOID AVOID** Really sad disappointment but on our lunch break this afternoon at the Lamb and flag. We won’t be coming back in any hurry. Let’s start with my burger, quality of the meat is shocking, it was little crispy and was over cooked, I ordered the salty burger, didn’t come with cheese, double meat and pulled beef or port. The chips were cheap frozen fries from picture my chips should have been chunky. My friends dishes were just as unsatisfying by the eye and taste. The chips were still slightly raw the salad had no dressing on it, basically rabbit food and the mash, oh boy the mash you could fill holes in the wall with that stuff. Either you need to change the chef or change suppliers. When spoken to manager she offered complimentary drinks which we declined, she said that the burger wasn’t the correct one and gave me a full refund only on the burger. I’d be embarrassed to serve that food.
