Lebanese Taverna Express — Restaurant in London

Really had a very bad experience. I will not even recommend this restaurant to my enemy. I arranged a staff party last month. prior to the booking, I spoke few times with the owner and staff. He promised me for quality meals with 15% discount. During the party we were twelve including a Lebanese girl (colleague). Food was very dry. We were told chilli sauce was finished. Limited salad on the plate. Basmati rice?? was given with Kebab. It was such a small place. We were ignored by the staff without serving for a while. Absolutely rubbish and never had a food like this. We were only expecting the quality of the food not the huge portion. After all, they charged us full and denied 15% discount. I was so shock and did not want to argue in front of my colleagues. The very next day, I found out some of my colleagues had food poison. They had stomach ache, vomiting and other symptoms. I went there to make a complaint but was ignored and said they can't do anything. This behaviour is unacceptable and decided this should be escalated. We have been to Ottoman, 193 Fulham Palace Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 8QX on several occasions and always had very good experience. I recommend people to go to Ottoman not to Lebanese Taverna. The prices on the menu is very expensive. I made the owner aware of this review. They are kind of people who don't care about customers. We are now telling every one not to go there. I can't give this place no stars - mores the pity.

Went here last night to pick something up before heading home and was told by my friend (who arrived slightly earlier) that they were only doing kebabs, as he tried to order a burger - fine.

We waited patiently in a queue only to be ignored for 10/15 minutes, the guy working on the counter then turned to his colleague and for no apparent reason let him know that he wasn't going to serve us. a couple arrived whilst we were waiting and the same guy proceeded to serve them (incidentally they ordered double cheeseburgers which was suddenly no problem!) until we protested. We made our orders and waited. My order was completely ignored. Whilst my friends were asked if they wanted salad, to which they said yes, but this was ignored. Despite having my order ignored it seems I dodged a bullet as my friends binned their kebabs within minutes, because they tasted like bins.

The staff are ignorant and beyond unhelpful. An utter, utter disgrace and a shame upon anyone in this industry.

Steer clear of this disgustingly disorganised and shamefully unpleasant...

Absolutely Rubbish, today I made an order to be delivered which I thought was already too expensive for the amount of food I was ordering. I waited for an hour when the man on the phone told me it would only be 45 minutes maximum, I called Taverna back an hour and 30 mins later and I was told that the person who was delivering my food his bike engine has broken and that I would not get my food and was trying to get me off the phone. He should have called me when he found out that the mans engine had broken and let me know that I was not going to get my food, instead of me waiting an hour and 30 mins and on top of that not being told I had to call them to find out the whereabouts of my food! The man on the phone did not sound sorry at all and had a attitude. However, I ended up ordering from on of my favourite Indian restaurants THE BENGAL. Who has always delivered good food and amazing customer service! Will never order from...
