Dear People, good morning hope you have a great day! Even though mine just got bit sad…but don’t worry, life is all about lessons. Despite this disappointment I will make the best day and later enjoy the real and tasty food! Here we go, after a lovely morning walk in the park I was hungry and wanted a nice and tasty breakfast. This used to be a wonderful Greek cafe, called Byzantium Cafe please check my review it’s still here. You will understand my feelings. So let’s start with the first dish scrambled eggs and sliced avocado. Trust me even a baby would be hungry after this! Chef what are you doing? Guys you will NEVER SATISFY YOUR PROTEIN NEEDS! So sorry! This is ridiculous and the price that you charged it’s so unrealistic! Also, it lacked the taste no seasoning or flavor! Please at least this is easy to fix. If you are not married dear Chef (You are not ready) let’s just say that! Good luck! At least you need to provide and know how to make eggs right! No offense! You can do it! Pancakes were good. Halloumi was so dry and super salty! Not the best quality halloumi! You need to change that. By the way, go and try halloumi in the place called TSIAKKOS and CHARCOAL (they have the best Halloumi) you will thank me. Poached egg overcooked too. Green smoothie needs improvement but okay. At least it’s healthy! The whole energy needs uplifting and some happiness too! We were here before and said let’s try again and we got so...
Read moreDue to the positive reviews, I decided to check out Les Filles Cafe for a solo brunch. The staff were mostly hospitable during my visit, though as I was on my own I was sat by the bench near the door which was rather chilly as the door was kept open. The staff seemed pretty busy but I was able to make my order in a timely fashion and they were able to accommodate my meal requests. The Chef’s signature dish that I got was nice but I found the portion rather petite and simple for a dish costing over £12 (One thin slice of sourdough toast and a stew mainly consisting of chopped tomatoes and peppers). I had to go to the counter to pay and unsurprisingly as in London there was a service charge which increased my bill very near to £15 for a simple meal and no drink. Perhaps this is standard practice in London, but I felt slightly cheated as the only service I received was someone bringing me my food and taking my order and then I felt mostly forgotten about as nobody came to clear my table or ask if I’d like anything else. In summary, I didn’t have a negative experience, but I feel for the price I could have got more for my money in a city with many other...
Read moreOur first visit to this restaurant was nice so we returned but unfortunately dealt with a very serious and unacceptable situation and we will not be returning. There is a server/ host who is very inappropriate. While we were waiting for our table, he made uninvited advances towards my sister by touching her arm when walking past her. When we sat down, she went to use the bathroom and we noticed that he unnaturally changed his course from what he was doing and followed her down to the restrooms. She returned distressed and stated that upon leaving the single wash closet, he stuck his hand into the bathroom to hold the door and said “don’t be scared, I need to check the toilet paper” even though it was clearly single use and IN USE and the bathroom was completely stocked. She coiled up and ran out of the bathroom and when she came back, I noticed that he had made a signal as if she wasn’t interested to a coworker. I hope this restaurant reads this review and protects their customers because this is unacceptable. We have a picture of this individual and would like to make his identity known to the restaurant. He has long dark hair and wore it...
