My husband and I got married at The Old Timber Store on Maltby Street and booked Malt for our private reception space. It was perfect!
Having the event space so close to our wedding venue was ideal, and we loved how seamlessly everything came together. The private event space gave us the best of both worlds – room for dancing, quiet corners for conversations, and even the option for guests to spill out onto Maltby Street.
Working with the local street food vendors in the evening added such a fun and unique touch, and getting a DJ set up was incredibly straightforward. We hardly had to make any decisions or stress over planning, yet the night turned out to be everything we hoped for.
We had a fab personalised cocktail list - thanks to Sonya - and our guests still talk about the amazing (and incredibly strong) espresso martinis. To be fair, all of the cocktails were insanely good.

Read moreWe hosted our post-wedding reception at Malt and had an absolutely incredible time. The venue has a wonderful atmosphere, both lively and intimate, the staff are not only immensely friendly but unbelievably helpful in all areas, from preparation in the run-up to the big day to ensuring that everything ran seamlessly on the night. If you're looking to host an event here with live music, we would also highly recommend trying to book the incredible Aisha Khan (who we were put in touch with through Sonya) who made our evening even more magical with her awesome voice and accompanying band. Honestly, we couldn't sing the praises of this venue more highly. Thank you so much to the staff at Malt and, to everyone reading this review,...

They said '2 cocktails for £10' but it turned out to be 2 for £20 as the word 'each' were missing. It is a massive blow if you invited 12 people. In the light of Advertising Standards Authority, it classifies as misadvertising. We received an apology and cocktails and service cannot be faulted, but Id expect a level of flexibility to offer some good will gesture since I pointed out a massive mistake...
