My son is 12-he has learning difficulties & a stammer. We were in the queue and he went first to a till. I was served at another till next to him. He was served by a lady named Makbule or Maxbule, I didn't quite catch her name tag. He gave his order but stuttered. She stared at him like he was stupid and then in the middle of his order told him to wait to one side until he knows what he's going to order, then started to serve the next man in the queue! I was at the other till, and she didn't know he was with another person. I was furious but I thought I won't make things more embarrassing for him by having his mother intervene. The man next-in-queue gave his order and my son tried again to give Makbule his order for the 2nd time. His stutter was worse as she’d made him feel nervous and intimidated. Her face seemed annoyed at him speaking. She then told him "How am I supposed to know what you want? I can't understand you, and I'm not a mind-reader am I?" I was SO angry.
I stepped in and Makbule realised he was with an adult. I bit my tongue and tried to set a good example for my son. I said "Excuse me? How dare you" but I wanted to say something VERY different. I went to walk out and the man in the queue behind us stopped me and told me when she made that comment even he was about to step in before he realised that I was at the next till. He said I should complain to the manager and he’d verify everything. This stranger was so kind and he actually calmed me, I wish I’d listened to his advice and gone to the manager but I literally couldn't stay in there. I could feel myself about to lose it and needed to distance myself from the situation to calm down. I didn't want my son to see me that way because if he is ever subject to discrimination in the future due to his stutter he needs to know not to react to it with anger and I need to set that example for him. Everyone I told was disgusted by Ms Makbule's behaviour, I felt like going to the papers! In her job she should be tolerant of all types of disability - she is happy to subject a CHILD to discrimination and rudeness in front of...
Read morei’m honestly disappointed with this restaurant! i’ve had so many issues with this place but thought i’d give it another chance, biggest mistake i’ve done. so i’ve ordered off uber eats from this place, my exact order was 1 triple cheese burger and 2 cokes. when it comes to my door i only have my triple cheese burger which by the way was stone COLD! so i call the restaurant up, no answer so i call multiple times, no answer. i’ve driven up to the place now and walked in to speak to someone and the service is so slow they’re literally moving around like snails. so i walk up and speak to someone that worked on drinks and explained my issue, that my drinks didn’t come and that i’m here to get my issue sorted. she tells me that she gave the uber guy my full order and i explained that she didn’t because my drinks didn’t come and even the uber guy told me she didn’t give it to him. so someone else comes over and looks at my code and walks to the drink stand and sees that my drinks are sitting there in a bag and tells me they are here. so i asked the lady that’s on drinks why did you tell me you gave the uber man my drinks when they’re right behind you? i thanked the lady that found my drinks and also explained that i paid for delivery and ended up coming up here myself, it’s embarrassing. i start to walk away and the drink lady says “sorry i forgot” sorry i forgot? i said you just stood there and lied to me, do your job properly or find a job that’s suitable for your memory and pace. unbelievable! i really don’t...

The restaurant has been serving up delicious burgers, fries, shakes, and other fast food favourites since it opened in 1982. The Islington branch has grown in popularity over the years and is now known for its friendly service, convenient location, and delicious food.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mac Donald’s Islington London. The service was friendly and attentive - the staff were quick to take my order and I was served quickly. The food was delicious and I was particularly impressed with the quality of the beef used in the burgers. The fries were also cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and a delightfully fluffy interior.
I was also pleased to see that the restaurant took environmental considerations into account. Mac Donald’s Islington London offer their customers to use their own reusable cups for their drinks, for which they receive a 50p discount. As someone who is committed to reducing my personal environmental footprint, I greatly appreciated this initiative.
All in all, I had a pleasant experience at Mac Donald’s Islington London. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the environmental considerations showed a great commitment to sustainability. I would highly recommend Mac Donald’s Islington London for anyone looking for fast food in the...
