Mooboo Blackwall — Restaurant in London

I recently tried Mooboo Bubble Tea for the first time at their Poplar, Blackwall location, and it was a refreshing experience! I ordered two drinks: the Chocolate Oreo Tea and the Coconut Bubble Tea.

Both drinks were cold, frothy, and thoroughly shaken with sweeteners, flavors, and milk. I opted for strawberry tapioca pearls as the base a fun and chewy addition that added a fruity twist. These pearls, also known as boba, are made from tapioca starch (which comes from the cassava plant) and had a great texture soft, chewy, and satisfying.

The Coconut flavor was sweet and tropical, while the Oreo Chocolate was rich, creamy, and dessert-like. The ice-cold temperature of the drinks made them especially refreshing, perfect for a warm day.

When ordering at Mooboo, the staff will ask you to customize your drink by choosing your flavor, sweetness level, size, and toppings. For example, you might say, "Milk tea, 50% sugar, large, with tapioca." It’s a great way to tailor your drink exactly to your taste.

The service here really surprised me. I have used the service here 3 times, every time I have never received a smile is a thank you from the lady staff of this shop. And every time I go It's not a busy time. But she looked annoyed and unhappy with the service. The last time I went to this restaurant, I ordered 50% sugar for milk tea. I repeated it twice when I ordered. When I received it, I saw that it said 100% sugar on the side of the glass, so I protested. The staff looked dissatisfied. And not a single word was spoken to me. then turn around poured out the ice and then add something With laughter and speaking with her colleague.who are not English, less than 1 minute he walked back and handed me that glass. And the worst and weirdest tea I've ever tasted. Unfriendly eyes and didn't say a word. I really feel bad about receiving this kind of service. The question in my head is Do I really have to pay £4.09 for this kind of service and milk tea? But really good luck I just found out that there is a new milk tea shop near my house. And I probably won't go back to this...

Went to this place for the first time today. Was alright. I ordered and not even a minute later they already prepared my drink! Was probably in the store for like 3 minutes my drink was served literally as I ordered, the waiting service was great however the drink was actually overpriced. The average price of the drink is like £4 and it’s way too expensive as it doesn’t make you full at all. Usually with drinks like this I wouldn’t be able to finish it but i finished it in less that 5 minutes. Also I didn’t really like the paper straw. I mean I obviously appreciate that they’re trying to be more eco friendly but they need something sharper than paper. The straw was even getting bent and out of shape as I was trying to open it and when I was able to open it (you need to put a lot of force on the straw btw), it spilt all over me. I guess it was...
