Poplar Cafe. — Restaurant in London

Yet again a wonderful Halal breakfast from Poplar Cafe. The food here is mouthwatering and enough to share in the special halal breakfast with the whole family. My hungry kids are hungry no more!!! Been ordering from here for a hot minute and always come back for more so they must be doing something right. I can spend a good hour on Uber Eats trying to choose something to eat and am very cautious of hygiene and always pick based on hygiene rating and reviews on Google so I hope my review can help other people decide to make an informed choice. Don’t listen to the negative reviews on here they are obviously other restaurants trying to shun the competition this is wonderful cafe and the food is always hot and delicious. 10/10 on everything and my kids agree too (Although they currently fighting over a hash brown lol) and they are considerate as well I don’t consume caffeine and they always give me a bottle of water or alternative so massive thumbs up for that. I once got sent a lasagne must of been goodwill for being one of their most regular customer but just got to say it was absolutely delicious and will be ordering again soon with chips. They do the best chips on the island although have to be honest today mine were somewhat soggy but that’s a minor and the kids enjoyed them so can’t complain. Thanks so much for existing and being a faithful place to be able to order a Halal breakfast when you that craving hits you....

This café is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, with just the right vibe for a relaxing breakfast, lunch or getting some work done.

We ordered the Cheeseburger and Chips and a Chicken burger with Chips and a side of Hasbrowns and Sujuk (Turkish sausage). For drinks we ordered an Apple juice and a Fanta twist.

The burgers were amazing, the Chips and Hashbrowns were lovely and crispy. Everything tasted great expect for the Sujuk, I’ve had Sujuk before and all the other ones have tasted great but there was just something off about this one which I didn’t really like it.

We didn’t have to wait long, which is something you look for in a good cafe spot, especially when you are hungry. There’s only one toilet, but the toilet is extremely clean. There is plenty of seating to choose from and the place is very spacious.

The menus were clean, well-designed, very easy to read, and the tables were spotless. The only thing I didn’t really like is one of the waiters put my cutlery on the actual table instead of on top of my tissue. But, other than that everything else was fine.

All in all, this place is the kind of café you want to keep to yourself but also want everyone to experience. A true neighborhood treasure. I’ll absolutely be back...
