We stopped by Morleys in Brixton after a show at Brixton Academy. It seems to be part of a fried chicken takeaway chain, and while I was not impressed by the quick and rather rude service, the food itself took me by surprise.
The fried chicken tenders were honestly some of the best I have had. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, full of flavour and not greasy at all. For a late night bite, they really hit the spot.
The interior could definitely use some attention. It felt a bit run down and could do with some upkeep to make the space more inviting.
