We stopped by Morleys in Brixton after a show at Brixton Academy. It seems to be part of a fried chicken takeaway chain, and while I was not impressed by the quick and rather rude service, the food itself took me by surprise. The fried chicken tenders were honestly some of the best I have had. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, full of flavour and not greasy at all. For a late night bite, they really hit the spot. The interior could definitely use some attention. It felt a bit run down and could do with some upkeep to make the space more inviting. All in all, mixed feelings. Great chicken, but the overall experience could be better.

I recently stopped by Morley’s in Brixton and was impressed with the quality of the food. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the burger was fresh and satisfying. The fries were also great – golden and perfectly seasoned. It’s classic comfort food done right! The service was quick and friendly, and I didn’t have to wait long to get my order. The atmosphere is simple and straightforward, perfect for a quick bite, although not particularly cozy or fancy. Overall, Morley’s Brixton is a solid choice if you’re looking for tasty, no-frills fast food in the area.

Decent Morley’s which is basically always open. Service friendly and very fast. Price is very cheap. Food is decent but not the best chicken ever but does the job. The fried chicken was a little dry and under seasoned. The chips aren’t always cooked fresh per order which is not ideal for me. The ribs were nice but very sweet so do be aware. They had that nice chewy sticky texture however. All in all a good Morley’s. Open till 02:30 sun-weds, till 03:30 thurs and till 06:30 Fri and sat

Haven’t been to this Morley’s for years but I remember it being known as THE Morley’s, as in the food there was good. However unfortunately this late night visit was below standard, wings and chips costing £7 for the chicken and chips just to taste like oil?? Old oil at that. And below lukewarm temperature. I had already set off on my journey when I realised, otherwise I would have gone back. I struggled to finish one wing, ended up throwing it all in the bin, was horrid. KFC needs to hurry up & re-open down the road, if it...
