Have you ever tried Chinese traditional breakfast before?
Breakfast means ‘Breaking the overnight Fasting period’. It boosts your energy levels and alertness at the morning. Therefore, Breakfast is the most important meal in a day. I’ve been following @murgerhanrestaurants for awhile and recently found that a Chinese traditional breakfast is available at the City branch. Glad that I was invited to try it!🥰

WHAT I GOT 🍲Jiugongge Chinese Traditional Breakfast 🦆Murger with Roasted Duck 🥬Mixed Vegetables Murger 🥟Gyoza platter (Vegetable, Chicken & Seafood)
Jiugongge included Jellied Tofu, Soya Milk, Deep Fried Dough, Scallion Pancakes, Millet Congee, Shanghai Dumpling, chicken Gyoza, Pickles & Boiled Egg. Among all, I loved the Jellied Tofu the most (of course apart from gyoza🥟😂). It’s silky soft with savoury sauce. The full set of breakfast was awesome and delicious! Love it! 😍😍😍
Murger with Roasted Duck combined the famous Beijing roasted duck and Xi’an murger together. The murger was crispy outside and soft inside & the duck was flavourful. Mixed Vegetables Murger was so refreshing with the spicy, sour & sesame flavour. Murger is defo a great alternative for sandwich as breakfast😋😋😋
How’s the gyoza? See my next post on Instagram @ccgyozalover for details🤗
@murgerhanrestaurants is now upgrading the Jiugongge Chinese Traditional Breakfast and a new set will be out. However, you can either dine in or order each of the individual item in Jiugongge Chinese Traditional Breakfast on Deliveroo every weekday from 7am-11am.

Read moreI really like this restaurant! Friendly staff and good location. Their hot noodle dishes suit my taste perfectly. It feels great to enjoy authentic Shaanxi flavours even in London. My friend ordered one of their most popular dishes: Beef Rib with Spring Onion Oil: The beef rib was slow-cooked until tender and full of flavor, served with handmade noodles in fragrant spring onion oil. My friend loved it! I went for:House Special 5 IN 1 Noodle. I’ve had “3-in-1” oil-splash noodles at other Shaanxi restaurants in London, but this “5-in-1” version takes it to another level. If you love noodles, you should try it! The bowl is filled with different types of handmade noodles and colourful ingredients, creating a mix of textures in every bite. So delicious! I like Pork Murger: This is a must-try Shaanxi-style “Chinese burger.” The crispy, toasted bun is stuffed with flavorful, juicy pork. So fragrant and satisfying! Mixed Salad: After eating a lot of meat, this refreshing salad is a great way to balance the flavours. It includes edamame, spinach, and lotus root, mixed with a special dressing that’s tangy, slightly spicy, and very appetizing. We also ordered Deep Fried Spiced Diced Chicken: My friend really enjoyed this dish. The chicken was golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—salty, crunchy, and super tasty! We also had Spicy Gluten Salad: A classic Shaanxi cold dish! The handmade gluten pieces soak up the spicy red oil, making them chewy and flavorful. The heat is just right, and it’s a great side dish to go with your meal. Overall I really enjoyed...
Read moreIf you want to try authentic Xi'an cuisine, you are in the right place! With 3 different restaurants in London, you can't fail to try all their specialties prepared by hand with care, love and great skill. First of all, lose yourself in the perfect consistency and flavour of the noodles, simply divine; the latiaozi, thick and literally full of taste, are magnificent, to say the least and the very famous Biangbiang, almost 4 meters long, wide and flat, contain all the possible and imaginable relish. Believe me, you've never tasted them so good! Then discover the ancestor of the hamburger, the very famous murger; born in 200 BC, it's a sort of toasted and crunchy scone that contains a filling of succulent meat that will make you crazy. Now I can understand the soldiers of the famous general Baiqui who, after eating their murger, became literally invincible. My palate ... agrees! Delight and lose yourself among soups, gyoza, fried chicken... you won't be able to resist licking your fingers! Take comfort ... you'll not be alone! Sweeten your senses with a theatrical ice cream whose warrior form looks straight out of the famous Xi'an Terracotta Army; absolutely perfect texture and taste! Top it all off with the excellent prosecco with rose petals… a real discovery with an unmistakable scent and aroma. I warn you ... if you go to @ murgerhan ... you will want to come back...
