Overpriced and overrated junk. I ordered chai coconut latte. They used some chemical gum and corn syrup/glucose filled artificial junk powder instead of real chai. I paid 6 dollars / 5 pounds and threw it out after one sip. Didn’t want to argue with the guy. They are busy selling their branded merch to cash in on their pumped up name, rather than focusing on quality beverages. If you want real stuff, check out many other wonderful small business coffee shops in the area and stay away from this gimmick.
P.S. just because it is vegan friendly, they should not be using artificial chemical/gum/corn syrup infused powder. It’s just simply cutting corners and ripping off customers. I don’t really get all the positive reviews about this business. Other than being conveniently located by the tube station, it’s just a subpar overpriced junk. To add insult to injury, instead of apologizing, the owner implied in his reply that i am lying because I mistyped the price by one pound. Lovely,...
Read moreI always come by to get an oat milk hot chocolate and sometimes pastries. The service is always friendly, relaxed and the drinks are made at a great quality, even during rush hours. I always have a great time talking to them and just spending either my mornings or my lunch breaks having a nice chat over an amazingly well made drink. I have nothing but great things to say about Nutmeg n’ Koffee, always friendly, always providing the best possible service and they have the best drinks I have ever had from any coffee shop or stand I’ve ever visited.
They have loyalty cards to which after you buy 9 drinks, you can get one for free, the same thing goes with pastries. The surroundings are always relaxing and every customer that has come over during times I’ve had chats with the staff are equally as friendly from what I’ve seen.
I personally say this is my favourite place to buy a drink and chat, always please and I thank you Courtney and Denis...
Read moreWe visit the Museum of the Home with our grandchildren every 6 weeks and it’s always a joy to stop at Nutmeg n’ Koffee. The man who runs it is a firm favourite of our grandchildren. They look forward to seeing him. His prices are really reasonable and unlike many other establishments, he doesn’t overcharge for kids’ drinks in smaller sizes. This little coffee business and the friendly chat that comes with it really adds to the pleasant vibe and community feel when you leave the train station. It makes the environment outside the station feel safe, well cared for, and populated. London at its best. Like something out...
