People's Choice Caribbean — Restaurant in London

First of all I am not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating! The food hygiene rating is a 3! My experience after ordering from here is the food was sooo disappointing. The oxtail I was almost scared to eat it just did not taste right. The macorroni and cheese one of the polyestiren box had a hole in it! The macorronni didn't even taste like what it's called! I couldn't even eat it or my kids. The rice n peas was about the only decent thing. After searching hours to find a good Carribbean restaurant and waiting so long to eat! Not a happy experience. I just sent my daughter to buy a small meal with £20 and she only came back with £1.60, I sat and waited in the car, I then went out to ask the rasta man where is the change he replied and said sorry I should of given her the remaining £10. I was so angry I told him off and said how out of order he is in robbing a child after supporting his shop all these years, all he could say was I should of given her and I'm sorry. Watch out people he a "thief" he robs from children, good thing I was there waiting...

I went with very high expectations, having seen a lot of people call it the best carribean in London. I eat a lot of carribean and while the portions are monstrously huge and include all the side you could want, have to say it was relatively average. The oxtail wasn't as soft as it should be, the jerk chicken was a little bland and i found bits of plastic in it, and the curry goat was nothing to write home about.
