We popped as we were in the area and the better half liked the look of the salads and cakes (we were good and resisted the cakes but you should really check them out) The salad was as good as it looks in the photo and my 'cheese and ham toastie' was a 9/10 for me (my wife rated it 10). Only dropping points because of my personal taste. The staff are 5 star. Very attentive, helpful and friendly even though it was very busy. It's something that if you live in London for a while (I have previously) you learn not to miss. But as a 'tourist' now I definitely appreciate the places like this where you're treated as an individual and not just one of hoard on a conveyor belt. P Or worse an inconvenience! We will be in the area over the next few months and will return. Why didn't it get 5 stars.. It lacks that cosy cafe feel.. It's really 4.5 stars. The food is great. The service is great. And it has a nicer ambience than most in London. Okay I decided it's 5 stars.

I discovered this little gem yesterday morning. They had an array of delicious healthy and varied breakfast choices. The coffee was delicious and I had a huge scone with butter and jam. I returned with a friend at lunchtime and had the tiny chicken with two delicious salads, it was scrummy. Such a clean cafe with a really relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Coffee really was good. I was actually heading for Pret and I’m so glad I found this instead. I strongly recommend you skip Pret and go to this place, all beautifully presented, fresh and very reasonably priced. Well done!

Great counter service by friendly counter guy, excellent food and great background music ( retro 80’s and 99’s). 3 salads with tahini dressing was excellent, toasted bread on the side. When I asked the woman waitress for butter with the bread she visibly rolled her eyes upwards
although she did go and get some which was delivered to my table with a stern look. The coffee I ordered did not arrive until I reminded counter guy. These 2 slips in service meant I had to deduct 1 star, otherwise great . Air con was not turned on and it was a little hot.

Avoid if you need to follow gluten-free diet/coeliac. I popped in with a colleague for breakfast, not my choice of place usually but I agreed as there are some online reviews saying that the place is friendly to coeliacs. I’m posting this to let you know I found these reviews to be inaccurate at this point in time. I found really long queue, at the counter, slow service, no information about coeliac friendly options on display, and staff avoiding my eye contact when I tried to ask before wasting time queuing (a pet peeve of mine). On asking if there were any gluten free offerings, I was rudely snapped at by a manager, who said “there is nothing gluten free here” A fellow customer pointed out that some of the cakes said “gluten free”. All good but this is breakfast and many people will want something substantial! I explained to the manager that yogurt and fruit does not contain gluten in spite of the rude staff insisting that it does (another pet peeve of mine is untrained staff). A kinder member of staff then confirmed to the manager and other member of staff that yes, yoghurt does not contain gluten. What a palava just for a bite to eat. I...

Never going again!! I work local to this cafe and I have always wanted to go inside and try! One day me and my fiancĂ© were there so I suggested we try this place. As we entered the staff at the front did not acknowledge us, as I have never been here I was not sure if we sit down ourselves or they seat us. I asked the man do we just take a seat and he turned his head to another one of his colleagues and said No really loudly. I was confused if he was talking to me and he turned and laughed and said oh I wasn’t talking to you just sit anywhere. We weren’t given a menu and when my fiancĂ© asked if we could have one he said you just come up here and order but gave him a breakfast one. Food was okay, nothing special and the lights that hang from the ceiling are so low I banged my head twice. It’s such a shame because it looked like such a cute cafe. My advise don’t go here unless you want horrible service...
