I have been to the salon on the 5th of May for my hair coloring and full hair highlights. After the first attempt, my hair colour was really dark and no highlight were visible. Then, after the second attempt, only half head highlights were left. By doing this, my stylist left my hair completely burnt and fragile and he also burned the back of my ear. I have been happy with Alessandro's style at the beginning, but unfortunately, the last four times, we had to work on my hair double to correct the mistakes made during the procedure. This is the first time a post a negative review, but I felt that I had to. I was promised that he would let me know what to do after he spoke with the manager. Unfortunately, after 10 days, still no update and I have not been able to get in touch with him as I am now blocked on WhatsApp and my texts are ignored. Most likely never going back.
Update:
Dear Mr Emir, while I can understand and respect you trying to protect the work of your staff, I find deeply disappointing and unacceptable that you accuse me of bullying in your response to my review. I take this accusation very seriously and as proof of my accounts I have attached a screenshot of my conversation with Alessandro in relation to my last visit. Unfortunately, the messages are in Italian, but I am sure you will be able to translate them, and like me, will struggle to find any wrongdoing on my side. Please talk again with Alessandro and, going into details, ask him why the FULL explanation he gave you was a misrepresentation of the truth. Please also ask your senior extensionist why is he saying that I was happy with my hair when he was the one suggesting waiting a few washes for the highlights to come out?
In response to your statements, I can confirm that it is true that Alessandro fixed my hair in March 2019, but not because they were in very bad condition, I went to the salon as I was not happy with the highlights done in Italy and Alessandro fixed them for me. It is also true that I received a complementary hair treatment as Alessandro realised the hair had received too much peroxide in a short period of time (February 2019 in Italy and March 2019 in London). If you have noticed, I said this in my review when I said that I was happy with the treatment I had received by Alessandro at the beginning.
Unfortunately, it is also true that during my last, and prior visits, I was not happy with the outcome of the highlights. Every time I had to sit on the chair for 7 or more hours while Alessandro tried to fix error after error. Wrongly, I never complained because at the end he managed to somehow fix the highlights, and because I believed we had friendly relationship, so much so, that on my last visit I gave him my whole lunch.
Finally, if I was happy with the highlights, why did Alessandro thanked me for being understanding and not kicking is backside (Alessandroâs own words in Italian) like any other person in my position would have done? Just before leaving I hugged him, in front of your CCTV, as he was quite nervous, and I didnât want him to get more stressed thinking that he would be more open to my comments the next day.
Please donât be surprised for my bad review, trust me I would have gladly avoided all this, but I gave you plenty of time (9 days) to contact me to discuss the different option to fix the problem and your policy about client/stylist relationship, was never mention to me. I was told by Alessandro to provide my email for him to contact me after discussing with his manager (not to contact the salon directly). I hope you have a clearer idea of what really happened and will edit...
Read moreFirst I want to say I had more than 10 y of experience with hair extensions and I know good hair and bad hair. I did paid 2000 ÂŁ for keratin extensions that shedded a lot of hair , I video taped the amounts of hair that loosened just when I ran my hand trough the hair and send them to the salon . The gave me a ph balancing product to use but the hair kept still falling off . Keratin hair is suppose to last 4 to 6 months but the shedding left the extensions very thin and i remove them after 6 weeks .  The hair plus installation cost me 2000 ÂŁ. â¨â¨Second time I chose tape ins. Problems . 1. Had a lot of pain since the tape ins were put too close to my scalp . This is very painful and very dangerous since the continuous pulling can give you bald spots. A hair dresser helped me in Abudahbi to loosen up the tape ins.  2.  The hair type they installed was not suited for my hair .  When you buy hair extensions the first rule is , the hair texture and color must be inline with the costumers own hair texture and color. This hair  had not the texture as my hair.  When you install hair the the hair you buy is often straight and they straighten your own hair to make it match. I was sure to get wavy hair that matched mine since the first time I got hair installed it was wavy like mine. Itâs always after the first wash 48 h after installation you can see the true texture of the hair you bought since the silicones the hair is treated  with washes off.  I hoped the hair would get wavy but I didnât , I trusted the hairdresser , this is the best salon 2024 in hair extensions and as I wrote the texture is the first thing about choosing hair .  â¨48 h after installation when I washed it I was in Abudahbi and I was not happy with what I noticed , my wavy short hair was in big contrast with the straight lengths, the picture shows what it looked like. And this cost me 1350 ÂŁ .  A hairdresser I Abudahbi tried to help me fixing the hair so I could enjoy my vacation with my husband . The hair wasnât even cut in layers to match my hairstyle . The hairdresser had to thin out my hair and cut the extensions in layers . A job that is included to a hair extension installation process . Also the ends of the extensions were very dry , this is not a sign of good quality 3 day hair. I wanted my money back so I could go to another hair salon and do a proper job but was only offered 550 ÂŁ, the installation fee. I was not offered to get the800ÂŁ the hair costed. I was also offered new Keratin extensions but this is not what I want and since I had so much bad experience with bad hair quality and the salon , I think its very understandable I donât want to get more...
Read moreI am in between hairdressers due to mine leaving on maternity. I phoned inanch for an appointment as I liked the look of the salon from the outside. I spoke with a very professional man who over the phone made me feel like this is the right place for me. Well there certainly wasn't any sign of him or any other professional in the salon on the day I went. Over the phone I was told I would need to have a colour test which takes 20mins to make sure I'm not allergic - I colour my hair anyway - but all good I understand. I was booked in for half a head and a cut. On arriving at the salon, I was greeted by unsmiley insipid young receptionists. Still fine, they weren't doing my hair. I had a lady take me to her station with long straggly hair and the alarm bells started going off just quietly. She then applied the colour test explaining it takes 20 mins. She then asked me what I would like cut wise I told her a tidy up but wanted to keep the style similar. She said that she thought I was here for a complete change. No that would be a complete change of hairdresser as I explained on the phone. The alarm bells were getting loader. She then told me about the bleach and two different tones she would put through my hair - louder still. There wasn't one question regarding what I would like. Then she told me I wouldn't need a full head every time I came. I told her I was only here for a half a head. She went straight over to the computer, lots of whispering, then she came back and told me that due to the test taking 48 hours I would only be able to have a hair cut. Really? I can only imagine her skill pool had not reached half a head and she was only qualified to smear a full head with dye?! This isn't really a proper revue as of course I was not going to let this woman near me to butcher me. She reminded me of someone who had just arrived in the country with a village hairdressing qualification from wherever she's from. She did not fill me with confidence regarding my hair at any point of the conversation and what is more I am now back to square one trying to find a decent - yes decent, not exceptional, ,just an honest hairdresser in this town. What a waste of time and meanwhile my hair is growing!! I know this salon had great reviews - note 4 years ago. One a couple of months ago which looks like a cover up for a bad review. What a shame they seemingly can't get the staff to back up their once - good name. Very...
