Overall, this restaurant is lovely. The food was fantastic and, for the post part, the service was really good. The waiter who served our table was professional and attentive, alongside the manager, who made sure we were cared for. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the FOH lady (brown hair in a grey suit) who we encountered. Upon entry, her attitude was immediately defensive and, in my opinion, quite unaccommodating. We brushed this off as we are not unreasonable people, and continued to enjoy the meal. However, towards the end of our visit, there was an instance where one of the waiters accidentally dropped a large bottle of oil over us and our table. As you can imagine, 3 out of 4 members ended up covered in garlic oil which stained our clothes and smelt rather strong. The manager offered to pay for our dry cleaning, which was a nice gesture. However, the FOH woman approached our table again as she must’ve seen the situation. At this point, we asked for a discount due to the inconvenience whilst explaining what had happened and the damage to our clothes. Instead of apologising, she continued to ignore us, not saying a word, and walked away from our table - all whilst pulling an incredibly rude face. My boyfriend asked her if there was any confusion, to which she replied with a very argumentative comment. We also asked for the bill at this point, which never came, so I approached her, once again, to ask to pay. When handing over the bill, which was a battle in itself, she was again rude and seemed unhappy that her manager had offered us a discount off the bill. I know this because she said a few backhanded comments about having ‘nearly £70 off’. It is incredibly unfortunate that she chose to act in this way, as the restaurant is lovely and I can clearly see why it has rave reviews. If you choose to go here, you will likely have a great experience, but just be wary and manage your expectations based off...

I had a wonderful dinner at Piccolino Tower Bridge last night. I started with two appetisers – the Bruschetta Con Gamberoni, which came with perfectly cooked king prawns on toasted sourdough with confit garlic butter, chilli, and lemon, and the Arancini, golden saffron and pea risotto balls with mozzarella, chilli mayo, and Parmesan. Both were beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.

For my main, I had the Mafalde Al Ragù – ribbon-shaped pasta with 24-hour slow-cooked beef shin ragù. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the ragù was rich, tender, and comforting – exactly what you want from a proper Italian pasta dish.

To finish, I couldn’t resist the Tiramisu, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was light, creamy, and indulgent without being too heavy – the perfect way to end the meal.

Everything paired wonderfully with drinks: a crisp glass of Prosecco alongside the starters and a smooth, well-balanced red wine from Abruzzo with the pasta.

A special thank you to our host, Victoria, who gave impeccable service and excellent advice on the menu pairings for the evening. She made the experience feel extra special.

Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service, it was a fantastic dining experience – I’ll definitely be going back...

Poor service, mediocre food and rude staff.

I came here with a friend on friday night and was shocked by the terrible experience we had.

Firstly, we were told our table wouldn’t be ready and to sit at the bar so we did and ordered cocktails but then we were told our table is ready so we were moved to a table SHOVED in the corner, right next to the loud kitchen.

Then, our cocktails actually never came so I had to remind them halfway through eating our food and THEY DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE when we eventually did get our drinks.

The waiter just placed them down and ran off again.

The food was mediocre as my pasta was completely undercooked.

When we asked for parmesan, he was extremely annoyed we even asked and did it very reluctantly.

It was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get any waiter’s attention, no one came back to check on us while we were eating and all the waiters would walk past super quickly avoiding all eye contact at all costs.

Then, we were given the dessert menus without even being asked if we wanted dessert, to which someone didn’t even come back to check on that for another like half an hour.

The waiter’s were rude, completely stone faced, no smiles and clearly did not care to provide good customer service.

Never coming here again, and I advise you...

A Fantastic New Italian Gem by Tower Bridge – Piccolino Delivers! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piccolino Tower Bridge, and I must say, this brand-new addition to London’s restaurant scene is a standout. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel truly welcome — service was genuinely excellent, striking the perfect balance between professional and warm. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a stylish yet comfortable ambiance that complements its iconic location near Tower Bridge. It’s the kind of place that feels both special and inviting, perfect for anything from a casual lunch to a celebratory evening. As for the food — authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Whether you’re a fan of classic pasta, rich risottos, or expertly cooked seafood, you’ll find something to love on the menu. It’s always exciting to discover a new restaurant that gets it so right from day one. Piccolino Tower Bridge is a welcome addition to the area and one I’ll absolutely be returning in the near future.

My carbonara was undercooked and tasted like something my 5 year old would cook, miniscule portion too. I sent it back however they likely brought the same plate back after sticking it in a microwave or hot pan, as the cream had clotted like it would after been dealt with in high heat and the food was piping hot, still partly undercooked! I was in a rush so I left, The burrata was tiny for 20 plus pounds and the foccacia needs to be purchased separately and was so chewy, compared to foccacia at Harry’s at Pancras station. The service abysmal doesn’t deserve a service charge they chucked on to the bill which was an addition of 10 pounds. Ridiculous. Never again. Skip this spot and go to a chain like Vapianos where you would get tasty food that’s affordable rather than a rip off like Piccolino at London bridge. Do yourself a favour skip this place
