Can only back up what a previous review said on here about cold washes. Apparently the boiler has packed up and all washes are being done on cold.

There was NO notice up the last time I used the place to tell their loyal customers of this and under trades description I would estimate that this shouldn't be allowed. I ask you-How difficult would it be to put up a notice informing people that the boiler doesn't work and ALL washes will be done on cold? But they probably won't do this as they would lose a lot of custom!

Used to be a reasonable place to use but as my last 3 washes have all been done in cold water I've bought a washing machine and won't be going back.

It will be far cheaper and better value for the future. Some machines take far longer than they should to complete the wash as machines most likely either need proper servicing or replacing. Some of the dryers are weak and don't dry very well.

No-frills laundromat. Good for travelers. Friendly service. Come prepared with coins, or cash - as of Feb 2024, the card tap on the change machine is broken, and the machines only take coins. For the laundry machines - £2, £1, 50p, and 20p coins are accepted. For the change machine - despite the broken card tap, it should accept £20, £10, and £5 notes. There’s both a post office and a Tesco ATM nearby.

Detergent and such is available as well, also via coins into a machine. Additionally, the office has laundry supplies in stock, when staffed (approx. 9am-5pm, Mon-Sat).

As of Feb 2024 - £6 for small washer, £8 for large washer, £10 for extra large washer, £1 for every 7min in a dryer. Dryers are large and could easily fit two small...

Very poor service, used the laundry for the first time about 2 years ago the machines being very clever at taking ur money if you take longer than a minute, noone is EVER in the laundrette- £15 of mine were taken which does NOT include the amount i paid for the actual washing of my clothes, it was a terrible experience, i couldnt speak to anyone as noone was there, the number provided on the wall noone ever picks up, so i slipped a note under their door with my phone number and noone got back to me ever, i went in a couple of times after, but noone was ever there, i understand thats how the laundry might be run but there should be some way of contact for someone who like myself might end up in a...
