Sam chicken is your run of the mill friend chicken shop. It’s very reasonable prices with average food. It’s good value for money but I would say I would rather pay more for better quality. The chicken itself was fine but the batter was probably below par. I had spicy fried chicken. I can say that the meal was filling and was a ok filler not but super tasty. The batter was a little different to most friend chicken places and I can’t really say I liked it.

The place has plenty of seating for a small chicken shop and most of all it’s clean so it feels ok to sit in compared to some chicken shops where you feel like it’s pretty dirty.

The wife and I went there last night, and it was all very meh. My wife got the blaze box and when it came to the table, my wife had to remind the guy that it came with wings and coleslaw. The wings were very undercooked (they were still pink in places)and the coleslaw was disgusting. I had chicken burger meal and the burger was meh. I also had 2 pieces of fried chicken. 1 of the pieces was weird, in that,1 half of it was cold chewy and rubbery and the other half was warm and juicy. Never in my life has that ever happened to me. I will say this though, the fries were far better than kfc's. So if you like nice fries with undercooked and mediocre chicken with disgusting coleslaw then this is the place for you. Sam's Chicken West Ealing consistently offers good food and service. The BBQ chicken wings, peri chicken wings, and spicy fries all taste delicious and full of flavour. The service is friendly and quick. The cleanliness and decor of the dining area are perfectly acceptable.

A small issue is there occasionally may be a long wait (up to 15 minutes) for the chicken wings to be cooked if there are not enough ready for your order - and I was advised by one of the chefs a few months ago that there that is no way to place an order in advance for collection to avoid the possibility of this wait.
