We ordered 2 x fried rice for takeaway. They said it will take 15 minutes, so we decided to wait outside, which we told them and they agreed. 45 minutes later, we realised that all the 11 people that came way after us were all served and left, while we are still waiting for our simple order. Severely understaffed for the peak timings they operate in. My 30 minute work break turned into an overall 1 hour wait for a simple fried rice (egg fried rice). When I tell you these are the worst tempura vegetables I’ve ever had in my life oh my lord. Soggy, bland, watery, oily, unseasoned. As in not even salt OR pepper. How is it going to be watery and oily?! And it cost over £10 for some inedible fried veg? It is genuinely disrespectful how nasty they were they need to take it off the menu and fix it before serving again.

The chicken katsu curry tastes okay but how is the curry coming in a sauce pot? Is it curry or dipping sauce? Is it food service or robbery? I promise I would’ve sent everything back and got a refund if I didn’t...

Me and my friends come here once a week after school to grab some food — it’s become a bit of a tradition for us. My absolute favourite is the special fried rice. I’m honestly obsessed! It’s packed with so many different flavours and every bite hits just right.

As for the price, the meals we’ve had range from around £6.50 to £12, which we think is pretty reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. Based on everything we’ve tried so far, I’d definitely recommend this place. Great food, good value, and the perfect spot to chill...
