Tate Modern Terrace Bar — Restaurant in London

mother and i came here Thursday for jubilee celebration after we were at the tate modern's spring terrace river pop up pizza alfresco we had a pizza then went for drinks with a view and boy what a view funny the same lady that served me at the alfresco pizza was also on the till at the cafe in the tate modern when i went to get a drink so funny mother needing to go bog seemed to take us to the best places on thursday as we celebrated the jubilee the spring river terrace pop up pizza had buskers by it singing old favourites and we sang along and i wasnt expecting such a sensational view great food great service great staff oh and great art there were some oriental ladies doing art with broomsticks moving sand around on ground floor we went first floor to take a look at it from above as it should be seen tate modern is great much to offer great staff food and...

The espresso bar on the 10th floor is an absolute nightmare. Shame as the view is spectacular as long as you don’t order anything. I tried to get a coffee I confirmed the order twice and the woman came and grabbed the coffee as I was about to drink saying they got it wrong and gave me another one with half the milk missing. I asked if I can have more milk she said no, I asked if they run out or something and she just mumbled and left. I taste it and it’s not what I order I go back to the counter I tell them, the guy says no it is, I say it doesn’t taste like it, he says it’s their coffee, I say I can’t drink it he says ok. That’s it, no attempt or interest in helping and it really was not drinkable. I left very upset and disappointed.. won’t be going back again...

Went to Tate Modern today. Tried to have a drink in Terrace Bar. We were seated immediately at 2 of the window seats with marvellous views. Given menus and told to order by scanning. We were not able to do that so asked for member of staff to take order. Waited 15 minutes then walked out. Went down to members area and spoke to Host (Rasna Hussain) about our experience. She was so apologetic and asked if we would like to go into the members area for a drink which was perfect. Considering we were one of the first to be seated in the Terrace Bar we should have not been over looked because we were not using our phone to order. Something is seriously wrong if this is the case. Just wondered if anyone else has...
