These lads never fail with their hot chicken or lamb cut freshly from the spool of cooking meat and salad dressings. A guy l had been nice to one night, (an alcoholic, he admitted that night), chanced his arm tonight again, said The Taza shop had nothing left over, scraps, the like, and he was hungry. I offered to buy him one, and ended up getting one for me too, however, why l am telling you this is that the owner, of the shop, seeing my effort decided he would donate the sandwich to the guy; l refused saying l didn't offer to, then not pay for the gift, so it fell to me. I imagine they knew each other, as l said, we blethered a bit about each other on a previous meeting; he knew the price, or maybe had a donation before, but it shows that giving, can encourage giving, so now and again it don't do any harm. My friend as it were, didn't hang about, while l enjoyed mine, sitting out at the front. l seen him sitting outside the casino beside an old lady, and l believe he shared it with her. He spoke out to me as l passed, she was why he left, pointing to her. It's getting too long, but, where there is one, there can be many; a cheery chap pleased to meet me, and me a Paddy... fist to fist greeting; no he was English; before the woe started. l had just spent my last £6-00, a few minutes back. God love him, colostomy bag and all fitted, and a stomach that looked like it had an argument with a mine-field said he had lost everything, was a brickie, had built half the city, believed in the giving hand of God, didn't beg. l had said l had nothing, but lived nearby, l'd heat him a tin of soup; l already said l was a plumber, anyway l stuck my hand in my pocket and found a 50 pence, handing it to him. The uproar, a plumber, in London; "l thought you would have handed me a tenner, or a twenty" he mouthed in disgust. "Give it back, l'll spend it", l said, but he didn't; and by the way, l'm not making you any soup. Loud mouthed he seperated and crossed the road; l don't know whats the right thing to do some times. (((The moral, it can be nice to give, it can be nice to influence, but all has to be within reason and ones pockets depth))).
All over a kebab, hope maybe some good and a sense of reason can come out or it, and that me, the reader can make a guided decision; (yes that's you) l'm talking about......Shake a little, save a little, give a little away..

Read moreWhat can I say? I'm astounded. Never have I experienced service like this before. I entered the store, how can I describe the atmosphere? It felt like a perfectly average kebab shop. How wrong I was. I walked up to the counter, "Could I have a chicken shish kebab, please?" "No." I was stunned, "no"? So blunt! Was it not possible to have some chicken meat and salad in a box with some dressing? "No." I stood there, mouth agape. What possible reason could he have for being so curt? Then it hit me. He knew better than I did. He's probably a master of his trade. Who am I to question what meat they use in a shish kebab? I should be grateful he even served me. He didn't make eye contact, now I understand why. Why should he have to? I had no appreciation for his art. I asked him for chicken, salad, lemon and light mayo, in whatever form he would be willing to provide it. I was done questioning him. I pleaded for no jalapenos or mushrooms, but if he put them in, so be it. I waited patiently. Still, I had received no eye contact. That was fine. I didn't deserve it. I just prayed I got to taste his food. As he held the grill down on the shwarma his jaw was clenched. I understood his frustration. All day, he was forced to serve peasants like me. Giving away his work, no, his art, for a mere £5? It was an insult, yet he persevered. Finally, he was done, he shoveled in some salad and bagged it up, "5 pounds," he said. Again, I felt his frustration, I wanted to pay with card, maybe I could stealthily tip him for his service, but how much would be enough? £100? £1000? Would they even let me pay that much on a card machine? It didn't matter. "No. Cash only." I can not describe in words the pain I felt after disappointing him then. His fury from the delay I caused him was clear. I scrambled for a £5 note, then left as swiftly as possible. I'd describe the taste of the meal he gave me, but I simply can't. I don't remember it. Don't mistake me, it's not that his food was forgettable. I just couldn't focus on the taste whilst eating. The entire time I couldn't stop thinking about how challenging I'd made his day. Why couldn't I have known the answers to the questions I'd asked him? I have decided I don't deserve to go again. If I'm in need of food, I'll go to the bakery next door. The ladies there were charming, their food fantastic, they even offered me discounts on their chocolates for no reason other than random kindness. I...
Read moreYesterday the 26/07/2024 I was there & they were busy ( it's ok ) I saw they have prices everywhere the lamb sandwich & the chicken sandwich are £6 & I asked him how much for the plate or container & he said medium is £8 & large is £13. So I perches 2 of the lamb sandwich plus 1 large container. And he said £27 !!! I asked him why . So he said 2 sandwiches are £14 . So I said no the price here & outside it said £6 each so it's £12 . And he said yes I made them large sandwiches & the large are £7 not £6 each . So I said ok . Even I didn't ask for large at all . Plus I kept hearing him telling people £7 and they say no it's £6 many times . So this scam men he is making so much Extra £ from every single sandwich he sale without asking the people if they want large or small . And the bad thing and the Worst thing is he put less meat in the sandwich even less then the small sandwich. They are thieves. Anyway after that i took my food & left and when I started eating my sandwich I saw the piece of bread or the sandwich it has salad more then meat . So how the hell it's large ??? These people are cheating. They are putting less meat than they should & taking more money than they should. These new workers are thieves. I did eat there so many times before & it was never like this . But these new people are thieves. I will advice everyone not to let it go . And tell this scammer or the thief to put more meat and to charge you £6 & not £7 I bet anything when they close at night he put in his pocket at least £500 every night only from the extra £1 . So for example he give his boss £1000 and he takes £300 or £400 or even more . He is a scammer and a real thief.
I live far away otherwise I will go back and tell them this . This is the picture of the man who scamming people for extra money on food and give less food .
People open your 👄 mouth and tell them it's less meat and it's £6 not £7 Other wise this scammer will Continue doing this and he will buy a new house soon...
