Thanh Binh — Restaurant in London

(Summary - We had to file police after being racially abused and cursed out by staff. Read other 1 star reviews for evidence of this!)

Was excited to try vietnamese food with my friend after so long. When noted to staff, that there was some sharp plastic/glass in my food which came in my mouth - which ready to let go, if we received as little as an apology, but instead the Vietnamese lady owner literally cursing me and my Vietnamese friend out, that we were trying to sabotage her? Not the only person to have a bad experience with her it seems based on other reviews.

My friend translated to me that she was making racist accusations towards me in Vietnamese, and when my friend calmly told her this was not right to say this, she cursed her, that she will never have children?? Ended up screaming at us at our table. Whole restaurant was in shock while we sat there also in shock and concerned as to what was happening, all the while maintaining our decorum. My Vietnamese friend left in tears while I tried to calmly evade the whole bizarre situation, as still in shock, to not to completely ruin our night and leave asap. When leaving whatever left of our food and quickly paying, had waitress making snide comments that making it up to get free meal on purpose and older vietnamese lady replying "these indians do this on purpose"....... £20 to be racially accosted and abused?? I literally have photos of the sharp object in the food! Beyond ridiculous customer service that I have never experienced.

We ended up calling the police, who noted that if another complaint is filed. Will be closed down. Horrible way for staff to act and run a business....

Not the worst resturant experience, but defiently not the best! Found this resturant on the off chance when walking past and thought it looked authenic and pretty decent. When entering the resturant was ignored for the first 5 minutes by the two women behind the till (older woman, assuming the owner & a younger woman)... eventually, we were reluctantly seated at a 4-seat table by the younger lady (there were two of us)... older lady came over and begrudgingly took our order, so we already kind of felt like a bit of inconvience to be honest. The older lady then came back and asked us to move to a smaller table as she wanted to seat other guests. Food was alright, nothing to write home about, but edible. The older lady when serving a table next to us noticed my backpack on the floor near my chair and kicked it under my table, as Im pressuming it was in her way... Rude much!? The atmosphere in the resturant is pretty miserable, with a slight under tone of 'why do we have to serve you, and why are you bothering me!? ' attitude from both staff who honestly look fed up and like they can't be bothered. Similiar to what other's have said, when asking for the bill (which is not 100% legable) as you don't know exactly what your paying for, and if /or not "service" charge is included... paying for the non-exisent service that you don't recieve... and the staff to be honest seemed happiest when we were leaving, plus pretty sure we was overcharged!! Anyway, like I said wasn't the worst, but I wouldn't choose to go back there again & I defiently wouldn't recommened it. Wish I had read the google reviews, and just ordered a deliveroo! :)...

I went for lunch with my girlfriend and straight away we notice the manager treating her staff like she was the general of an army.

I ordered my food, forgetting to mention I have severe allergies, but I ordered the same exact plate 20 times in the same restaurant and I knew it didn't contain nuts.

I should have mentioned about my allergies of course, but the ingredients and the allergens must be specified.

As soon as I mentioned I couldn't eat that food she has told the waitress that I had to pay for the food but I refused to pay for something I didn't eat.

She came to our table and started rising the tone of her voice interrupting us while talking without hearing anything at all. (We have it all on video). Shouting in the restaurant putting in distress customers while eating, others leaving and others coming in.

Honestly, I have never seen someone so rude and aggressive , working in a restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and I have never experienced any problem.

The worst experience I have ever had. People this rude and aggressive are not supposed to work in customer service.

I am sure her staff will agree with this too, as they were treated like...
