What a true hidden little gem. It’s somewhere between a restaurant and pub with a lively atmosphere, comfortable seating and warm surroundings. The service is attentive without being obtrusive and the manager is incredibly personable and clearly cares about every detail of the restaurant. He has a passion for excellent quality food and wine but he is focussed on keeping the prices reasonable.

The food is second to none. Finally, a restaurant in London that can cook a risotto. The flavour profiles of each dish is well thought out. The execution is excellent, all freshly made from local suppliers. That burger though......just wow. The burger itself is about twice the size of the bun, and it’s no small bun. The burger patty is perfectly cooked, rested and full of flavour. The bacon is so think it’s more like a gammon steak. Wine list is refreshingly good value. Basically this place has just got it right.

There was a vulgar bunch of people on a table near us which the manager tried to quieten down however they didn’t and he felt so bad he discounted our meal - of course I refused the discount because it was in no way the restaurant’s fault but this just shows how much they care about the diner’s experience.

What a fabulous place. I cannot...

Food: We ordered the surf and turf platter for two and my friend got a beer which he seemed to be happy with. The steak themselves were pretty good but not excellent, I feel like it was missing something. The peppercorn and bernnaise sauces were both OK as well. I quite liked the prawns that came with it as the wine and garlic sauce added a bit of depth and complexity to them. That being said, I think their food is done well, but is missing something which could make it excellent. I also do wish they had a mock tail selection though.

Service: Solid if unspectacular, I think that the fact that we were told immediately that we could flag people down to ask them stuff whether we wanted more of something or whatever we needed was helpful. It did take us a bit long to get our bill but that's a very small thing as they seemed busy wirh service.

Atmosphere: The fact that there's little music and the place looks quaint and well decorated. We felt comfortable sitting there and the vibes were nice as well.

I'd say this is a solid if unspectacular...

Yesterday my husband and I enjoyed a "simple" hamburger lunch with a glass of house red wine, to remember, and glory over for many a day, the fabulous food, the meat rich, juicy, intelligently seasoned to show off it´s quality and unctuous glory, the serving generous to say the least, the salad garnish fresh crisp, and for me the extra delicious addition of an egg on top, and ace flavour rich wine, were equalled by the wonderfully warm welcome, and sensational service of both Sveta, an ace chef and waitress, and her husband behind the bar. I´m so pleased that we´ve already made a return booking to this brilliantly bountiful restaurant, and can´t wait to try their steak tartar, with meat this flavorsome the raw version is bound to have me singing with happiness at first bite, see you on the 31st. Thank you yet again for the an excellent time we spent with you, in your COVID safe, and secure treasure....

Cozy Gastropub with Great Food and Atmosphere We visited a charming gastropub that offers a warm, inviting atmosphere and a well-curated menu. The drink selection was impressive, with a variety of wines, beers, and spirits to choose from. To start, we had the Tomato, Basil, and Mozzarella Salad (v)—fresh and flavorful, beautifully finished with a balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil. For the main course, the Ribeye steak (11oz/310g) was cooked to perfection and served with crispy chips. We paired the meal with a bottle of red wine, which complemented the dishes nicely. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was enjoyable. A solid choice for a relaxed meal with quality food and drinks.

Wow, this place is incredible. Very unsuspecting from the outside but without a doubt the best steak I've ever had, anywhere. I visited yesterday, with two clients for lunch and we all went for steak. I had the garlic prawns for starter which were huge, with a medium rare t-bone for mains. Super reasonably priced, especially if you consider these guys are around £3-£5 per steak more than Miller & Carter, with a quality and experienc3 that is easily 10x better. Having dined at the likes of Gaucho's and various others, The Bountiful Cow wipes the floor with all of the competition.
