A hidden gem of a pub, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but the prices make up for this, definitely the cheapest pint I could find locally. The staff are great and extremely knowledgable in regards to the local area. Proper local boozer.

Visited 6/6/2019 around lunch time. Drinks reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, polite staff. Being the youngest patrion didn't put me off. Jazz band on show at 13:30, will stick around next time to listen. Will be back

Popped in during up pub crawl of Greenwich. A superb pub, great atmosphere. Band were really good which apparently is a common theme here

I was staying nearby, and could hear the music. I'm a musician myself so I thought I'd go along. I bought my drink for £7.25 and sat down. After one sip a fella comes over and puts a beer glass of banknotes under my nose. 'For the band." I explained I'd arrived two minutes ago and didn't have any cash on me. "You've got to pay for the band" he said, and got right in my face. I explained again I'd just arrived, I'd bought a drink, I didn't have any money but I'd sing along and be enthusiastic. Again "You've got to pay for the band ". I felt really threatened so I went back to the bar. 'That fella collecting is pretty aggressive" I said. 'He's collecting for the band " she explained, not very helpfully. I handed her my full drink back and left. I did not feel safe. (I'm a heavy 6ft too.) If you're going to go, the music isn't great. The band were doing Dylan in a pub-blues generic style. It's not something you'd pay to see, but gets punters in so maybe the pub could give them £100? It's not an art form that warrants an aggressive fella getting in your face as soon as you sit down. If you're going to go to the Morden, take a fiver so that you get left in peace. Although there's lots of much friendlier pubs nearby, and the view off Point Hill is...

Small local pub with live events Thursday to Sunday. Love that it is cash only. The woman behind the bar (I think she's the manager) is totally lovely. The barman was grumpy, surly and a bit rude and I was underwhelmed by the other young woman behind the bar hence the 4 for service. They don't serve food but they seem to order pizza to share... You can sit outside the front until 10pm. It was a really nice, supportive place to gig, despite some of the guests wanting to watch sport on tv rather than be told to shut up and listen to spoken word (it was a music night). I will definitely be...

Flying visit, popped in for a random pint and was met by extremely flamboyant customers of ALL variations! Extremely inclusive bar. I sat with a friend in awe of some of the characters, who were all very welcoming. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly.

Cash only however, which may be a little awkward for some this day and age, but would recommend for a relaxed drink with a friend...
