Gece Gunduz Turkish Breakfast and Bakery — Restaurant in London

We had a very lovely brunch her last weekend.

Kris was a lovely server, very kind and accommodating. Similarly, the man from Kosovo (sorry I didn’t get his name), was very nice and hard working in keeping the tables clean.

The food is fresh, delicious and good value for money. The coffee was good and very strong, just what I needed.

I loved the range of sauces, yogurts, dips that they serve. There’s absolutely no reason to be leaving any crusts when you have so many options to dip it in!

My favourite item from the whole meal was the potato gozlome. Honestly wish I could’ve tried more, but they give so much in one portion we were only able to try that and the lamb.

The breakfast is absolutely delicious! I was a bit skeptical. The decor and atmosphere doesn’t really scream “cute cafe”. But if you put yourself in the mindset of a hole-in-the-wall like gem, you should be pleasantly surprised.

The the spices on their eggs were perfect, but the real star is the generous portion of Turkish bread that comes with the breakfast. I wish there were more eggs, just so I could eat more of the bread. So light and airy, but with a crispy on the outside. Apparently, it’s made on-site everyday!
