Came here for a Sunday roast on a very quiet Sunday last week but wish we hadn’t bothered. First of all the staff seemed totally inept and lifeless, our server lacked basic customer service skills such as welcoming us. We ordered 2 of the beef Sunday roasts which say on the menu that they are cooked to “roasted pink.” We received 2 totally overdone roasts, the meat was fatty, cheap cuts and so over cooked and chewy I couldn’t finish it. Being someone who is okay with medium cooked meat I didn’t complain but we did complain about my mum’s who’s meat was even worse than mine. The server told us maybe he swapped our plates and I was eating hers (well no because they were both meant to be cooked to pink). He didn’t apologise but just stood there gormless saying it was “strange.”What’s strange is how over cooked the meat was but he took it back to the kitchen. The rest of the roast was okay and the cauliflower cheese would have been good but there was only a small serving on both our plates. The server came back with a new plate for my mum which had meat that was slightly more pink (just!) but again no apologies. We waited for someone to come over and check on our meal during it, but no one even came to clear the plates and we had to get up and pay in the end as we were tired of waiting. We are local to the area and hadn’t been here for food in a long time, needless to say we won’t rush back. Considering it was a dead Sunday the service was simply unacceptable.

Absolutely lovely pub, fabulous service, and great food! Have just taken my nieces out to lunch at the Queen's Head and it was outstandingly good. Pub itself has always been great (terrifyingly, just worked out have been going there on and off for 40 years!), and for last few years service has been wonderful too. What has changed since I last went there to eat (quite a while ago) is the food. OMG it was delicious. Lots of choice & big range of options from picky bits to full on meals - we tried half the menu & rolled out replete some hours later. Our top favourites from today were the warm brownie (serious buyers remorse at not ordering the bigger version - sadly for us we were too full!), the crab arancini and the lamb chops. The triple cooked chips were also excellent. We were looked after so beautifully by lovely Detroit & Michael from the bar. Amazing service - things we hadn't even known we needed suggested before we even thought of them, so kind, nothing too much trouble, and picked up on the fact we were celebrating a birthday and brought out pudding with candles and singing 'Happy Birthday' which thrilled our birthday girl. Also super dog friendly which is great for me and my tiny aged dachshund who was welcomed like the princess she thinks she is. Now plotting how soon I can go back. Thank you all at the QH including inspired kitchen team - you are all the best & very highly recommended!

Good pub with a surprisingly big back garden! The tables were spread apart due to COVID guidelines and that probably made the place feel chilled even having a few busy tables around. Food and drinks came really fast after we ordered digitally. Service is very good and helpful. The burger wasn't amazing but was good (I wish they put more of the "secret sauce" in!) and the portion of fries was definitely small. Good selection of beers and cozy elegant atmosphere inside (just very cold with the air-conditioning on).

I visited Queen's Head Hammersmith this past Sunday on Father's Day. It's a location I've attempted to visit three times and one that's conveniently close to my weekend routine with my kids, so I had high hopes of making it a regular spot. Unfortunately, my past experiences haven’t been particularly great, and this visit was no different.

This recent Sunday’s experience was quite divided:

Food: The wait time for our food was over an hour, and when it finally arrived, it was incorrect. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the right dishes to be served. Drinks: The beers I ordered were delivered incorrectly twice, although I did enjoy the alternatives that came. Soft Drink: I asked for a Coke but received a Pepsi Max instead.

Despite the pub not being particularly busy, everything seemed disorganized and chaotic. A special mention goes to the staff member with pink hair, who seemed confused and was not pleasant at all. The final straw was during the payment process when she argued with me about the £50 deposit I had made. She insisted she had no control over deposits and that it was my responsibility, even stating "no one does deposits." I had to show her on my phone that I was obligated to pay a deposit because it was Father’s Day.

This argument was both annoying and disrespectful, especially in front of my kids and my visiting parents. Fortunately, I had the chance to talk to Francesca, the owner, and explain this situation in person. I emphasized that the key to a great pub experience is the people and urged her to monitor how her employees treat customers.

The pub itself is nice and beautiful, and I do enjoy the environment. However, given the recurring issues, I won’t be returning...

Sorry, but not a good experience today. Went for a christmas meal with group. Im vegetarian, that doesnt mean I'll like and eat the only veg meal available. Menu handed to us had 3 options for me, one was a salad, one had vegan chilli (im not vegan and dont lime substitutes) and other was gnocchi which ive never had and really didnt fancy. I asked for a vege burger, waitress said they dont do one. Offered a bap with halloumi in it. I said thats just cheese. But there is a burger for meat eaters?? The waitress could see i was struggling, but she just stood there saying i will wait for uou to make your mind up. So i asked for the sandwich-slow roasted tomato rocket focaccia. The waitress said sorry we dont serve it past 5pm. So we asked her suggestion of what i could have as she was pretty unhelpful. She gave me the bar menu and said i could have the nachos. They were an astounding £12.50!! My colleagues said why cant they be flexible and just make me a sandwich, waitress said no they wont allow it. We said, have you asked, she eventually did and came back with a no. So i was forced to have the nachos which were nothing special at all. I thought i'll have a fab dessert. No chance!!! The only dessert we wanted they said they haven't got!!! Wouldn't have thought i was in the heart of Hammersmith with such poor vegetarian choice, astounding snack prices, unhelpful waitress, management unbending on just making a simple sandwich, running out of dessert for christmas and then have cheek to include service charge on my already overpriced crisps!!! Company great, but...

Ohhhhh how I love this place!!! Today was the second time back this month. Both for Private parties - we had the best time. Francesca the owner and her team are the most on point and attentive crew I think I've ever met. They feel like family now and make us feel the same also. Francesca is quick to reply to emails, accommodating and quiet literally nothing was too much to ask. For the Second time! I've finally been able to enjoy a large group event where nobody complained, the food wasn't sent back, where the starters didn't take an Hour to come out and the staff weren't rude or overrun. I love this place! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - the emerald and peacock greens in the deco is definitely a bit of me. The chairs are comfortable and although all different - so beautifully go together. I literally can't wait til it's warmer to have lunch in the garden - it's so Lovely out there!! The refurb was worth the wait.... And OMD!!! The food!!! Listen if you've read this far you may as well keep reading! This food is phenomenal! Last time was the Sunday roast and this time the Fish pie. Sorry I didn't take pictures but I was too busy enjoying myself. This food is well seasoned, well cooked and my goodness they are generous with their portions - wear something stretchy trust me! And even when you Know you are full, you just can't stop eating, it's to good to waste. I'm literally on a mission to taste the whole Menu lol. 10 Stars to you Chef - 10 Stars. Well as you can see I enjoyed myself an so did all my guests at both events.

See you soon Guys -...
