Treatz Dessert Parlour — Restaurant in London

Decided to take my 3 year old for a late evening snack with my partner and had to request for the table to be cleaned as soon as we were seated. Ordered £30 worth of desserts and milkshakes only to be met with a stale pancake and Nutella spread that was separating on top of the pancake. I can be fussy so decided not to complain but then paid £7.99 for a red velvet freakshake that was a complete shambles. The slice of cake that comes on top was solid as concrete and the man that served me himself admittted he wouldn’t eat it but insisted that i got what I ordered and the cake was stored properly so there’s no way it could be stale or off. After standing my ground, he very reluctantly gave me a refund for the freakshake only. Would never spend another penny in this establishment and wouldn’t recommended anyone else waste their money. Also, they gave us dirty cutlery to eat with and when I asked for it to be replaced, the man wiped with dry tissue and tried to hand it back to me. Absolutely disgusting food with even worse customer service.

Edit: Crepes/pancakes, whatever. I still spent £29 something and it was not as a good will gesture. If you serve under quality food, you should not expect your customer to pay for it. Also, the guy who gave me back the dirty cutlery could barely speak any English so i am stunned how you managed to get an accurate recollection of that incident. The guy who served me was ignorant and rude and I wouldn’t take a £50 credit from you if it was offered. The food and service was disgusting as I said. You clearly portray your restaurant as one thing online but in reality, it’s a dirty, unkept establishment with, like I said, even worse...

So today I had like an 11 hour shift at work, finally get free and I start walking home and let me tell you I was exhausted. I turn onto Jamestown to pop into Fat Burger for a strawberry milkshake cause they're my favourite. I see that Treatz is open and decide to give it a shot.

Pop in and a waiter tells me to take a seat but I reply that I just want something to take away. I'm given a menu with more options than my tired brain can remember but I just settle on a plain strawberry ice cream milkshake because I just wanna keep it simple for today.

They had a little trouble with the till - they only opened recently so I'm guessing they're still finding their feet - but they're trying their best, and ask their manager to make sure. I take a seat while they make it for me, and its brought to me by a smiling waitress.

If I could give it a zero I would but this is the worst desert place I’ve ever been to in my life had to seat ourselves and get our own menus. Peanut butter stack was dead cold told the guy to warm it up he said he doesn’t recommend it cuz it will taste rubbish, never have I been to a desert place where I have. Had a cold peanut butter stack. He then made me take the cream off so he could. It was still cold my other friends got a crepe and it was rock solid when we told the worker he said it was because of the weather and there was nothing he could do then my friends pancakes were so doughy when we told them again he said there was nothing we could do.
