• ELVIS * has not left the kitchen! Always welcoming and friendly. New girl is quiet but polite and, like Elvis, a hard worker.

Some days Mrs Elvis comes in and helps. A lovely woman. I guess like all the Elvis family.

Eggs always extremely fresh and good, proper egg colour. (Probably extremely happy chickens)

Nice, clean, good prices. Very happy, pleasant staff. Excellent COFFEE.

Always a few specials.... Great "caff" good portion size. ALWAYS FRESH N TASTY Some outside seating available.

Will keep going. So much better value and tastier than mucky duck on the corner. Mucky duck 2 burgers n coffee = tenner Troy's bacon, egg, sausage, toms, toast, REAL coffee = tenner.

Always happy to serve. Never too busy. This is now my regular and Ive tried all the cafes in tuffnel park n Kentish town. Definitely the best on quality & value.

I always feel welcome and customer service is (in my opinion) the thing that makes me want to come back.

Also, prices consistent and don't change depending on who serves you....unlike caff opposite...

It's not the best quality food but it's cheap and you get big portions. I wouldn't recommend getting any meat options for the sake of quality, but if you still decide to do so, do not go for the roast chicken fillet. It looks like a bath sponge, tastes nothing like chicken and is so chewy it's hardly edible. Only reason I stopped coming here was because I can't stand the smokers that sit outside; smoke fills the entire shop and it makes the most unpleasant eating experience as the shopkeepers like to leave the door open for convenience sake. Just off Kentish Town Rd is this small cafe, named by the great Trojan story. The decor doesn't reflect this, but the menu does – the offering is a surprise when you open it.
