Was a bit hungry after running some errands and little walk. Bearing in mind it's is just before 11am so nothing is really too busy.
Came across Truffle Burger just under the bridge so I decided to satiate my hunger.
The guy working there was very friendly and very helpful after me asking a few questions so 5⭐'s for service and helpfulness. As I mentioned previously this wasn't during a busy time so there is definitely the lack of pressure to get food to customers.
After a momentary deliberation decided to order a cheeseburger 🍔.. keep it simple.
The price.. as is the case for really almost every place to eat in London... Is a lot much for the portions.
The Burger however was great. Beef patty served with raclette cheese, lettuce pickles and burger sauce.
The inside of the bun was just the right amount of toasted which went with the crispy lettuce which also tasted fresh.
The cheese and sauce were not overpowering so I could definitely taste the burger properly with the sauce and pickles complimenting the flavour.
Overall for me it was a very tasty burger served and presented well. Even inside the presentation was considered as I was watching him make it even if you're never really going to take apart a burger to look.
A downside is really the location under the bridge. It's okay for a seating area but not much of a view unless you like the underside of a bridge and when it's busy I can see the area being quite...

I visited their Southbank Winter Market stall on Saturday 17th with my partner. And I paid £11.30 for a vegetarian truffle burger. I was told it will take about 6 minutes which I was fine with.
The person who was making it was wearing gloves but handling raw meat patty and vegetarian beyond meat burger with same gloves.
The other person who was serving customers was preparing buns with topping and handing out to customers too as there were only staff of two that time. But this person had beard and was not wearing gloves or apron. He was scratching his face (May be it was not intentional), applying fig jam, putting crispy onion and then close with other bun and hand them out to people with bare hands. In this process you could see clearly one half of the bun on clear surface. Then their mates walked in with cups of coffee for them. Two guys who are already there hugs him, give high five with customers are waiting, don’t bother wash their hands or change gloves.
This may not be a huge deal for someone, but to me, who works in a food industry myself, knows well, these things can cause a huge health hazard to anyone. Handling meat and veg products not correctly can be a huge problem. They failed miserably. Sorry Truffle Burger but this is my honest review.
Attention. I am explaining situation involving Southbank Winter...
Read moreOMG! I’m not sure you’ll find a better burger in all of London! That was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I ordered the straight truffle with raclette cheese (I’m not a fan of American cheese) and paired it with truffle fries—yes, I’m a BIG truffle fan.
The burger was perfectly cooked to medium-rare, with each bite offering a symphony of flavors. The sweetness of the fig jam and the crunch of the onions combined beautifully with the truffle mayonnaise, juicy patty, and brioche bun. My mouth is watering just writing this review. The Parmesan truffle fries were equally impressive—crispy, perfectly cooked, and generously dusted with Parmesan cheese.
My only complaint? These guys have set the bar so high that I’m not sure I’ll ever find another burger vendor worthy of ‘slicing their pickles.’ Bleaker, go try a truffle burger and see how they master both quality and...
