Harassed and humiliated at the London Eye
I would like to share the extremely shocking experience I had at the London Eye.
While I was presenting a pass that had been offered to me under my friend name, a blonde employee with a visible back deformity grabbed my personal phone without my consent, claiming she needed to verify the pass.
I calmly explained that I understood the situation and that I was willing to buy a regular ticket instead, without any problem. However, she categorically refused to return my phone, despite my repeated polite requests. She prevented me from accessing the service normally, putting me in an extremely stressful and humiliating situation.
What shocked me even more was that neither the managers nor any other staff member intervened to resolve the situation or even listen to my side of the story. In the end, my husband had to step in and physically take my phone back from her hand, because she was still refusing to give it back.
I felt harassed, humiliated, and completely abandoned in such a world-famous place like the London Eye.
I urge the management of the London Eye to seriously review their customer service practices and ensure that such abuses never...
Read moreI have been so many times the past several years I can not even count at this point. Maybe 5 times? 6? I'm not sure but either way, it is always very nice! I adore the view, and I see it personally with a different perspective every time. You efficiently get through the line, kudos to all of the staff working to make that happen! And, it is very spacious offering different viewpoints! If you are a tourist, they have a moment where they take your picture for purchase in their store, and you exit through the store. I have to suggest doing one of the London Eye deals as it is often very worth the price, there are a few different packages such as the london eye and the Thames river boat cruise (very informational and nice to see other buildings!) or the london eye plus the aquarium if you are interested in seeing aquatic life. There is also some interesting ones such as the london eye and I believe it is the Shrek experience, if you have some little kids and want somwhere the whole family might enjoy. It is also worth looking at their gift shop because some of the items are quite...
Read moreLondon's worst customer service experience...by far. Booked and paid for champagne VIP package for nine people two months before our trip with confirmed date. Called the day before and assured we were good to go at 4:00 and all we had to do was show up. Upon arrival were told sorry, but it was super busy and they couldn't accommodate. It was obvious they oversold. They offered to rebook us sometime in the next 90 days. Are you kidding? We were leaving the country in three days. Asked for refund and was refused. Customer service person at the VIP desk needed better training. His supervisor came to help and was a compete b** to my wife then walked off. Said we needed to contact the agency to ask for refund. Agency of course told us they should have issued refund. Does anyone at the Eye know what the heck is going on? We are out almost 400 pounds and got nothing. Will dispute the charge as seems to be only course of action. Save your money and do something else. Have many friends coming to London next summer. Will advise against this giant...
