Buyers Beware. Book a different tour bus company!
Poor customer service as I have emailed them over 48 hours ago with no response.
We purchased the 48 hour ticket and we did not have any WiFi on either of the buses we hopped on so I could not use the app, or anything for that matter. It was VERY difficult to figure out where to go from there without hopping off to pick up another city map to try and find out where we needed to go.
In addition to the WiFi not working, we had to constantly fiddle with the audio ports. Either the port was broken and/or loose, or the hole mechanism did not work. Thus, we were constantly hopping around seats to try to find a working audio guide.
Not only was that an issue, but the 1st time we went to hop off a bus, we hit the stop button and unknowingly did not realize we were not a an actual stop, but at a red light. The bus driver was pretty rude in saying that "we need to get to an actual bus stop. I am sure you have them where YOU come from" in the most demeaning way. Second time we went to hop on a Bus the driver just slammed ear buds down on the table and looked at us. I thought he was joking but he obviously also was not having a pleasant day as he just starred at me like "are you going to pick this up or what" kind of way. It was rude. And.... we already had our ear buds..so we moved on to our seats...
Lastly, we were at Kings Cross waiting for a bus and had NO IDEA that there was a last stop time on the post. I NEVER read about looking for that on the sign, nor did i see it listed on the pamphlet. I see the 1st stop listed on the pamphlet and online in the email attachment I received, and when asking previously about how late they run, i was told around 18:00 (6:00 pm). We got to the Kings Cross Stop at 4:55 pm and were sitting there for about 12 minutes and luckily another couple saw the sign and were just as confused as we were. We had all missed the "last" bus. We then had to hop on the Tube to get back home and could not even ride the bus for the remaining part of the tour.
Then there was the river "cruise" which was also poorly described as it only seemed like a taxi. When I think of a cruise, I think of a leisurely moving boat. Not a hoard of people shoving onto a boat to only go 10 mins up (or down) the river.
I understand that things can be misconstrued on some occasions, but this tour was not user friendly at all. And, between the wifi not working, audio guides not working, rude bus drivers, poor instructions per the website, and so on, I do not think this "tour" (if you even want to call it that) was worth $47 (aka £35) since I could have simply paid about £10 to ride the public bus and have had a better experience.
We will NOT be booking through your services again in the future. I was hoping for a more pleasurable experience, and at least some response to my email, but I guess since you already got my money...

Read moreQuite disappointed with these tours. The ear plugs were not working for most of the tours. There was so much traffic that there was a lot of stopping. You cant get very close to a lot of the main attractions so we did a lot of walking which was better anyway. I did really enjoy the river cruise that was included with the 48 hour bus tour. We spent about 3 hours on the cruise and seen more and learned more then on the bus tour. Make sure you get the 48 hour tour or else the cruise is very short and not worth it. I will say that the original bus tours that had live commentary guides were the best. We learned more than the prerecorded with headphones. The main tour routes ( yellow and blue) are about 2 hours long if you stay on the bus for the whole route so make sure you bring snacks and drinks. Also, there are always detours throughout the day so you may not drive by certain attractions that are on the map. We didn't drive the same route all of the time because of the detours and protests. Be ready as well for no bathrooms nearby. You will have to use one at main train stations or if you pay to eat a restaurant. There are none at the attractions or in souvenir shops. The bus tour was a good way to get to attractions without having to pay for taxis but you just have to walk a lot to get to the places. Try to get on the bus tour early as it can get busy quick and the streets get more congested with people. We hopped on the bus at 830am when it first started and the traffic was not as bad and it was easier to walk. I would not go on the bus tour again but it was something we wanted to do for it being our very first...
