Go elsewhere. It could be good but...we just were there for Sunday lunch and drinks. We explained to the waiter that i would prefer to order via a person rather than an app as my phone had had some issues previously. He was friendly and helpful, gave us paper menus, and later came to see if we were ready to order. For some reason he had to get another member of staff to do that - but that is fine. Shortly a woman came to the tell to tell us to use the app otherwise there would be a 15-20 min wait for someone to take our order. She said they were busy (even though half the tables were empty and we had the choice of anywhere we wanted to sit). Rather than wasting her time telling us this, surely she could have just taken the order in less time than our discussion took. I reiterated my desire to order via a person, and she said either you need to wait 15-20 mins or just leave. We left. I spoke to our original waiter and found out that this extremely rude woman was the "manager". Seriously? Another couple overheard the discussion and left as well. So 4 covers lost by this wholly inefficient, rude and full of attitude "manager". I understand staffing is a problem following covid and Brexit - but surely you can do better than...

A pleasant enough experience, staff were very pleasant and helpful. I went there with my partner who is a drinker but I am not. We had the mushroom, truffle arancini, chips and a drink each. The arancini was sticky in texture and not incredibly flavoursome. Chips and the drinks were lovely. The atmosphere was quite warm and comforting on what was such an incredibly chilly Sunday. This is a great place for drinks and a light bite though I would politely suggest if staff could just keep in mind that not everyone is an alcohol drinker and therefore please be a little more considerate to those of us who do not drink. Yes I might only be there for a lemonade and some chips but I'm still just as much of a customer than my alcohol-purchasing counterpart. Non alcohol drinkers can bring as much fun! Other than that I would definitely visit again as atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming. This place has my seal...

So great to head back to Vagabond Paddington again - genuinely my favourite place for a post-work drink. The team (especially James and Chiara) are brilliant - despite a spot of rain and chilly weather, they made sure we had such a fun evening. Delicious wines, lovely setting, great atmosphere (even outside!) Really disappointing to see some customers complain about not being allowed inside during the rain. The team dealt with it in a super professional and polite manner. Given everything the hospitality industry has been through, I’m appalled at the customers’ behaviour. We should be supporting bars and restaurants, not knocking them for doing their jobs in the toughest of circumstances. Well done Team Vagabond - can’t wait to come...

Great concept and not too busy on a Saturday - some wine was out of stock so not every dispenser was operational. Good selection on offer with useful information and descriptions on flavours and pairings. Didn’t have any food so couldn’t comment, but other tables looked tasty! But, as a recommendation, more sweet varieties (there was one, and it wasn’t in stock!), a selection of dessert wines (so many people love them? The only fortified wine on sample was rather horrible..), and also a written sheet for each table with a printed list of the wines on selection would be good as we spent ages trying to read the small print labels possibly getting in the way. A shorthand brief sheet would have been a nice touch! Will be back and trying other branches!

Free flowing wine for 90mins + Sunday roasts. Sounds attractive but in reality it is rather disappointing. The venue and wines are great but when it comes to roasts, not so much. The beef roast was hard and chewy and the pork skin was not crispy and underseasoned. The roasts had to be booked days in advance as clearly there are not much demands and they only order ingredients for pre booked customers. The other restaurant 200 yards across does a much better job for roasts but less wine options. If you like your wine then vagabond is fine, if you like your roasts, start walking. Ps. The staff who served us was very friendly and professional, just to mention.

If you’ve been to the United States, it’s like a upmarket Barcade with no games ! It’s definitely odd sampling so many wines; the contraption is interesting in the wine bottles. The wines (red) for me were just okay. My friend (white) really liked the number of different wines that she tried. Food wise the truffle Arancini was good but the longer you leave it the drier it gets. The large cheese board is probably too big for two people but the truffle fries were good. I think I’d head to Marylebone and go to the smaller wine bars. I heard the Vagabond is perhaps nicer in Fulham / Chelsea.
