Food was great, however, came delayed after the order had been given and the waiter didn't record it. He read our entire it back to us (I was here with my very good friend) but clearly didn't record the item that was missing in the end. This can happen, sure, but it was the first item that was ordered and we repeated it twice. The situation was resolved before payment and the initially ordered item was given to us without charge.
Five stars for Alex who managed the entire situation this late at night. That's the last thing you want to happen so late and you approached the entire situation so well!
One star for Pasha who went to totally ignore me during customer service and when bringing the drinks to our table but was very sweet to my good friend and tried to get a good review out of him. We can tell fake behaviour, your customers aren't dumb. And you won't get a good review by apologising and saying, "Could you please give me a good rating otherwise I'll get marked down." If you get annoyed with people, not taking their order correctly on purpose is not the way to go either. Work on your customer service and at least try not to show that you're annoyed and dislike females. Regards, an Assistant Manager who works in...
Read moreI didn't drop a star because: the waiter we had (bulky guy with a number two haircut and beard to match) was excellent, attentive, polite, but most importantly, REAL, he was a real human, without all that fake rubbish. He just left us to eat, and came to our table in between courses, and when I occasionally made deliberate eye contact - how all wait staff should be! the food was glorious! I had a steak stir fry, essentially, and my partner had the wagamama ramen, both of which didn't disappoint at all. The steak was cooked well, in that it was fried, slightly crispy on the edge, brown a little towards the interior, but pink in the middle! Generally just well done to the chefs this time. Two helpings of free green tea, and a guava and passion fruit sorbet to finish off was a good way to end the pleasant detour into the restaurant, I recommend the sorbet! the location is so convenient, being so close to London Bridge station and all the amenities/infrastructure around it. It's in a nice setting, right by the Thames, built into the single giant arch of a railway bridge, the faint clatter and thunder of trains can still be heard about once every ten minutes. The place also closes at 23:00, so...
Read moreFirst, they didn’t have the steak available, told us 10 mins after they have taken our order. Decided to go for chicken and prawns instead. Then another waiter came to us telling us that they don’t have the noodles we ordered with the chicken, they recommended different ones, we agreed to go for it. Initially we ordered 3 mains, as we were 3 people, they only brought out 1 main, I have eaten my main while my other 2 friends looked at me, waiting for their food. Third person came and asked if we are waiting for more food, duhhhh, we said that 2 people before couldn’t get our order properly. Really? Then they said they will bring the food out as soon as possible, as it’s been a misunderstanding. I obviously said I won’t pay for the 2 main missing, they agreed. I understand, it has been a busy day, a bad day for them, not sure, but at the end we ordered one more Coke, which never arrived, when decided to pay, we have noticed it was billed. We had to ask them again to bring the bloody drink when they clearly charged me for it. Normally, i’m a big fan of Wagamama, never had any issues, but the staff at this brunch, absolutely horrible! If you don’t like your job, get a...
