Visited tonight for 241 however after our pizza took 80 minutes I politely asked if we could get them in a takeaway box as the food had taken 1hr + and we had to leave. We were brought 2 tiny boxes big enough for one slice each and told to put the pizzas in them. My dip was taken off me back to the kitchen.

I went back to the Wandercrust window to ask for a normal size pizza box and was spoken to incredibly rudely by 2 of the kitchen staff. They took the box I had already been given and refused to give me one back as it has been ordered at eat-in. They also refused to give me the dip back as it was in a metal pot or to transfer it into a takeaway one. They were incredibly rude and dismissive and I left the pub in tears.

Have been eating here for years but I will never be returning due to the way I was treated by the...

We have never had any issues with a place and would always come back here. However, I think it's going to be our last time. The music was extremely loud as in disco and we could hardly hear each other at the table. As soon as we have arrived I asked to turn down the volume a bit, however the waiter was insisting first on taking the order. Once we have placed our order and I have asked again to turn down the volume, he said that they cannot turn down the volume. It really upsetted us, as if we knew that they wouldn't turn down the volume we would not place our order. We wanted to relax, to have a lovely evening evening eating our pizza. Instead we had to hurry up eating pizza so we could run away with a...

The pizza here is surprisingly good!! We were looking for a place to eat but unfortunately, our fav place nearby was closed. But then a kind waiter there recommended the Pelton Arms for pizzas and we gave it a go. At first, we couldn't believe that they would do pizza as the place is a cosy, classic local pub. But we saw people eating it and luckily we could find a table. The pizza - omg, it was one of the best I’ve tried in the UK for sure! And the price is totally reasonable. With all the decor and even live shows on weekends, this place is quite an experience. Delicious award winning pizza, didn’t disappoint. The pub has nice atmosphere and good service, and a little beer garden. The menu is varied with many vegan options too. Must check out the add ons section - it seems like it works out cheaper for some of the toppings this way. The salami pizza was superb - the crust was soft, chewy and had a good char flavour. The tomato and cheese and salami were very fresh and seasoned well. I think they may have forgotten our Parmesan cheese since I couldn’t taste and couldn’t see it, but still, this is among the best pizzas I’ve had in London and I will happily go back.

We usually order a delivery but wanted to go in-person this time. We got there for 5pm and pretty much 90% of the tables were reserved (mind you, it was a Friday evening). Only tables that were free were outside. Luckily the weather was nice so it was fine. We ordered pizza and a few bits from the pub menu. Food was great, service was friendly and atmosphere was nice. Would definitely revisit on a warmer day (it got quite breezy later). Thoroughly enjoyable, but would probs reserve a table in advance next time. Only downside was a pint is around £7+.
