Wimpy — Restaurant in London

I am not a picky person, but this place…

Walking in, there was absolutely NO ONE in this restaurant and immediately red flags are going off in my head. There were more staff than people in this place. I ordered a cheese burger, onion rings, and a vanilla milkshake and I sat and waited for the food to arrive. The decor in this place made me feel like it was a fast food joint designed by my grandma, it isn’t bad, but it’s just geriatric vibes, like this place is just a relic of the past (which it is). It also just smelled like an old persons home, which again isn’t bad, but just odd?

You usually go to a restaurant to get food that’s better than what you could make at home, but upon first bite I knew I needlessly wasted my money. I felt defeated. First the onion rings, they were mushy and gross, they tasted like the same frozen onion rings I bought at Tesco. The burger was so nasty, patty definitely frozen, bun was dry and awful, but the veggies were fresh. The milkshake was the only thing that was decent but it was so artificial and nauseatingly sweet, I couldn’t even finish it.

Overall please save your money and spend it somewhere that’s actually worth your cash. I wanted to love this place so bad but it’s just not good food. The only reason I’m not giving it one star is because the staff weren’t rude and the milkshake...

My family and i wanted to have a nice english breakfast but this wasnt so nice if im being honest , i saw the english breakfast poster outside it look alright so we decided try it as the other cafe was full . I walk inside and the place didnt look very appealing to the eyes it kinda gave me five guys vibes and the kitchen looked sketchy .

The lady taking an order was nice but the food took an awfully long time!! (we ordered a English breakfast with hot chocolate , 2 thickshakes and cheesy fries) After i ate the english breakfast i didnt feel very well , i had a headache . THE FRIES!!! :( i had one word to Describe them ...AWFUL! , they were dryer than the sahara desert and it looked like she smacked some cheese on there and microwaved it and called it a day!! The only pleasent thing was the thick shake it was nice , creamy but the marshmallows that came with it had hairs and weird black particles on it!!

Sometimes u have to judge a book by its cover because on the poster the food looked really good but in reality it was not...

Why, oh, why are there not more Wimpy outlets? Proper burgers that look and taste like a proper burger should, unlike things served in other more famous fast food outlets, specifically starting with the letter M. Visited the Wembley Wimpy before a concert at the OVO Arena. The lady who took our order greeted us with a smile and double checked that our order was correct. When the food was brought to our extremely clean and tidy table, it looked fantastic. Chips cooked to perfection, and the double quaterpounder with cheese looked exactly like it did on the menu picture. Again, it was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful.
