The ‘chicken’ meat and flesh is of bad quality—there is something odd about their anatomy in relation to cuts from other chicken places. I suspect these cuts were even more unintended for human consumption.

This is exacerbated by the chicken just never being cooked very well throughout. They seem to just lace raw chicken cuts directly in soy-based coating and deep-fry them without any sort of prior seasoning or marinate of the actual meat underneath.

This results in an admittedly very tasty and crispy outer coating but a bland, lukewarm almost boiled consistency to the chicken flesh that the coating hides which is full of stringy translucent veins all wrapped around the stubborn toughness of the meat. It doesn’t at all fall off the bone so to speak.

The Soy Garlic or Liquorice flavoured exotic coatings they fry this chicken in is clearly its only USP and it must be for this reason that the place is swarming with groups of East Asian students. However, I do marvel as to whether they are the least bit bothered by the quality of the underlying chicken itself.

The gizzards have been more palatable for me by adopting a blind ‘ignorance is bliss’ ravenousness. I believe the only difference here is that they have removed the bones from the subpar chicken and glued it together somehow. Again, since that’s then all conveniently wrapped in a crispy flavourful coating, I reckon both the assumption and reliance here is that consumers won’t care or be able to deduce its quality.

The fries are very nice though, very similar to McDonalds but maybe more bendy. The price is not great with 6 wings at £7.99 and fries at £3. But the worst thing about the price is that chicken wing flats and drum ratios are often lopsided and inconsistent. My last bunch had 5 drums and 1 wing, a big no-no for me.

It's not even worth discussing their customer service since it...

The food was okay but there are definitely better chicken shops in London with MUCH better service. The person who was serving us was super rude and irritated. He was okay while serving me but when he was serving my girl friend (she was thinking for a bit longer because it was her first time) he kept rushing her in a rude manner, then when she finally picked, he kept repeating "you're done? you're done?!" then when she wanted to add prawns he put them in the computer and when she continued looking at the menu to choose a drink he removed the prawns from the order and said " i guess you're not getting prawns"- again in an even more aggresive manner, as we are two young girls we got scared and we just agreed, so she ended up with just three pieces of chicken, no drink. If i hadn't payed already, we would have definitely left because his behavior was absolutely unacceptable ! We were excited to try the food but after this horrible experience our appetites were completely gone. Sad to see that this company which advertises itself as SO friendly and nice to everyone, hires someone who TOTALLY lacks decency and empathy! The worst way to spend money and time. This is not the first time someone complained about the service, so please do something about it because youre constantly loosing customers due to a guy who hates his job. Disappointing. Will definitely tell everyone I know...

Big shoutout @wearewingwing for having us down to break our fast. BEST CRISPY CHICKEN WINGS I’VE EVER TASTED! Now that’s out of the way, there are plenty of seating inside/ out. How dope is the signage?!

Wing Wing📍London Food rating: 5 Service: 5 Venue: Cool Vibe (private room available) Recommend: Signature Wings + Katsu Bao! Avg price for two: £35 Overall: 5 out of 5⭐️ Halal: All chicken Other: veg/ seafood options available

What we ordered: •6 Wings £7.50 (mix of flavours) •Asian Style Seafood Salad £8.80 •Chicken Katsu Bao £7.80 •Chicken Wrap/ Burger £7.80 each •Katsu Chicken Rice Box £7.80

I’m not really a Katsu curry person, but this was nice! Try it! The seafood (prawns and calamari) salad was lovely and light. Chicken wrap was delicious, nice flavour. The chicken burger was just yummy, super crispy and loved the sauces, you can add halloumi for £1. Pictures don’t do it justice!

The chips £2 🤤 nice touch with the salted seaweed! The Onion brick £3 was very flavoursome, loved it. The star of the show were the chicken wings! All the flavours were nice! Mix flavour option available too! 😍 The bao was sooo good! Get this! Crispy chicken, slaw with a soft bun.

Oh man, them wings though 🤦🏽‍♂️ AMAZING! It’s the next day, I’m crazing them lol. Pricing was average, the service was very good! Thank you Christian for the awesome...

Wow, that was unpleasant. Me and a few colleagues popped in at lunch time to try something new. It was a big mistake. My two colleagues had meals which were apparently OK quality, but about half a meal in quantity, for about £7/each. I paid £10 for a halloumi burger and seaweed fries, with a drink. The burger looked OK from the outside, but was a disaster. Exploding, dripping, slopping and sliding with needless vegetables. The halloumi steaks were great, but TOO BIG (I know, right?) and a ridiculous shape to put in a burger (that anybody would stand a chance of eating). Most of it ended up dribbling into a mush on the tray, or my lap. After a while, I couldn't finish it, it wasn't worth the effort. The fries were actually not bad. An interesting taste and for the 'large' meal, that was a BIG bag of fries. The 'large' fanta seemed like a medium :P Plus, the food took quite a long time for a 'fast food' joint and obnoxiously loud music made for an uncomfortable group meal. The diners on the table next to us left with a sigh and an audible "that burger was really s**t". So I don't think we were alone. The staff, I have to say, were friendly and helpful. No complaints there. It's the concept that's flawed. My two colleagues had to go to the shop afterwards to buy more food because they were left hungry and unsatisfied. We will not be going back :(

This place is a scraped four star. I was expecting five stars. I came here primarily for the wings, but myself and my companion sampled the wings, drumsticks, a chicken burger, a salad and fries washed down with a couple of beers each. It came to £46. The first wings that were served were cold and dry. I took them back to the counter, and although they were replaced there was barely a mumble of an apology, the counter service prior had been good, I suspect the wings sat too long on the pass before our buzzer went off. The fries were great and the drumsticks succulent, both my friend and I agreed that the hot sauce one are very hot indeed, her having much more spice experience than me. The burger was great, the salad was average. There was no draft beer, the review I had read said it was there, but it was only a selection of (perfectly good) Asian lagers from bottles. I was expecting more from the sauces, standard mayo, ketchup and sriracha plus one decent home made honey-based Korean BBQ type which was very good. It just felt like it was missing a bit of extra verve, I also had to wipe my own table, we were quite early and the place was quiet. Doing well, but could go either way up or down, give it some more polish guys.
