Newish little gem of a restaurant...well worth seeking out. It is a little bit tucked away oppersit #heron keys station. So the menu has a good selection of most categories Japanese foods with meat and vegetable alternatives...the Sushi was fresh and professional with some great seafood..not surprising that billingsgate market is a short walk away. This small restaurant is cosy and friendly with a relaxed feeling. They serve soft drinks as well as beers and saki..I went with the delicious fresh..refreshing green tea. The crispy dumplings were great and the dishes come with dips and accompaniments. It was not packed but several customers so conversation was easy to conduct The prices for good quality Japanese food was very reasonable especially reconsidering you are at Canary wharf..this also means transport links are numerous and close. My companion and me had a good selection which left us pleased and satisfied but not heavy on the wallet. The area has become very popularly for Japanese work placements to live and work..which is why there is also a fantastic Japanese supermarket nearby...all well worth...

Couple of things they could improve on are, as the place is small kitchen staff must make sure customers are comfortable by not constantly going in and out of the place (to smoke?), the 'skinny waiter' mentioned by another reviewer earlier on here could smile a bit more. And finally, the wonderful jazzy versions of 80's/90's pop songs,...

The main drawback for me was the atmosphere. The space is small, which isn’t an issue in itself, but it feels like it’s missing something in terms of decor and ambiance. A little more effort in that area could make the dining experience even better.
Overall, Yuhoki is a good spot to stop by if you're in the area and craving sushi. While I would have loved to give it 5 stars, I have to settle for 4 due to the atmosphere. Still, it’s...
