ZAMZAM GRILL — Restaurant in London

Simple yet effective, entertaining yet unobtrusive. My experience at ZamZam grill is not the least explained by the above terms. From when I walked in, the staff took notice of me like a 5* Hotel Concierge as well as a familiar caring attitude that youd find in a resort or a cruise ship. The space, location, lighting and atmosphere is exactly what London is all about and yes thats how Mr Kalam arranged it. His forward confident yet gentle attitude made me feel reassured that I can have my needs met. For someone who can get picky, he and his team locked in to produce an excellent product of a meal that I had to purchase 2 mains. Both of which Kalam brought out in 2 plates in under 15 minutes. The short chit chat until then insured I was feeling the warmth while the open door brings in the wind from behind your head. Only in london will you find a menu that is specialised to represent the culture and cuisine to accommodate one's Hunger. Eventually I left 100% satisfied as if I didn't have not a single space left. A full tank nothing more nothing less. A smooth ride from the first step till the time I got fed up of just sitting back in my seat after I finished eating. New grand opening and I feel it was a success. A bit slow on the preparation of the food but I am sure this will be ironed out as weeks go. Now the important part. What was the food like? The chicken is really good. Nice and sort. The wings on the other hand where a bit dry. I think they need to add more water and keep it well steamed. The lamb briyanni was amazing and the half grilled chicken was spot on. Didn't like the streak chips but it's what you normally get with grilled chicken. The cheese burger was good but the chips let it down. French fries would work perfect with it the hot sauce was good but I loved the sweet chilli sauce.

The staff were super friendly and willing to help anyway they can. A+ service.

Overall: amazing opening and excites to see how they grow. Definitely give this place a go and get that briyanni! Opening.off finishes 6th May 2025 so if you'd like to try a bit of everything, make sure you go soon.
