Was there last night in the Piccadilly one Manchester, I will start off with the disgusting service given by the new manager, a small lady at the front of the desk hairy arms and 1 yellow tooth, goes by the name Monica, disgusting customer service, think she needed to brush up on her communication skills and English before getting a job here in the uk. Was absolutely appalled. The way she spoke to me and my friends was disgusting, the way we all saw her speak to the staff was disgusting, another customer asked her to wipe the table before they sat on it, she threw them a cloth and said I will not wipe it, you wipe it. I’m a regular at this store and I know the staff I.e Maj and the guard Jay, who are top top guys, and they along with the other staff members I know and spoke to all said they have complained about her so many times and absolutely hate working with her. She totally ruined our Archie’s experience.

Moving onto the food, the food I ordered, I had to get up three separate times as she forgot to put all my items in the bag, paid for sauce, didn’t include, paid for chips was not in the bag, paid for a drink and did not get it, again down to monica. The food was overloaded with mayo and salad and was just falling apart. The milkshake which Monica made herself and I watched, was way way way too thick to a point where it was more like ice cream. My favourite milkshake which I always get no fail, tasted really bad, she put more cream in than the actual milkshake so was more a cup of cream if anything. And then my friend ordered a new milkshake to try, and asked ‘is there no cream in this one?’ Her response was ‘no, you should know there isn’t !!’ And then asked us to calm down. I really think upper management need to sort her out and get rid of her, disgusting lady, who individually ruined our Archie’s experience, while I was there, we weren’t the only set of customers who had their experience ruined because of her. She wouldn’t even wipe a table when a customer asked. The staff all of them look depressed working with her. She needs removing. Big shout to Jay the guard and Maj, who always try to give every customer the best...

My Milkshake arrived melted WHO PUTS A Cold DRINK In the SAME BAG AS (supposed to be hot) FOOD?! No common sense. So all the food was cold, too. Burger was pretty tasteless and the fries were dry and crusty. Total waste of money. Very annoying & disappointing!! 1st time ever ordered burger was wrapped in foil so nice n hot when it came - not this time in the paper. The last time I came inside here for a milkshake told was take out only which was fine, but I had to wait over 35 minutes and there were only around 2 or 3 other people(customers) in there! Strange how, after waiting 25 minutes with the staff seemingly doing nothing, everything and anything but my milkshake when I asked for a refund the man said I'M DOING IT NOW... hadn't even started it then still had to wait another 15 minutes. Almost ended up with a parking ticket. It's tempting to call in with my melted milkshake reciept to request a replacement next time I'm in the centre but honestly I haven't got another 35-40 minutes to waste and definitely don't want another greasy, tasteless burger or crusty fries !!!! Also had a bad stomach after eating half that burger which wasn't even enjoyable, had to force myself to eat it because of how much it cost, also can't bare to waste food when there's people starving. What an absolute waste of over £20!!! Honestly, take note of this and other reviews and AVoiD!!! Definitely won't be ordering from here any time soon in a rush. It's also quite obvious that you are not taking any of this feedback on board, either! Better off supporting your local take away for...

Visited Archie’s whilst waiting for my next train, to say I was very disappointed was a massive understatement.

For the amount of food you get the prices are atrocious, the burger was sub-standard and didn’t taste of anything, there was no seasoning on the ‘smashed patties’ which honestly looked like they’ve been smashed, and then smashed a further 100 times. The only thing I could actually taste was the turkey bacon and that’s dreadful.

Don’t get me started on the Chilli Cheese Fries, for £4.50 I was expecting a decent portion, I got around 10 fries which looks identical to McCains oven chips and what looked like canned Chilli on top, they must’ve been sat waiting for a while as the cheese had melted and re-solidified.

Did I forget to mention that I waited almost 30 minutes to receive my order at what point the server just slapped it in front of me, didn’t say a single word and left? Some condiments and a knife and fork to eat my fries with would’ve been great. I ended up having to leave my meal unattended to get some cutlery which I had to physically reach behind the counter for.

The only decent thing about my experience was the Coca-Cola, to be brutally honest next think I think I’ll walk that little further and get a McDonalds as that’s a lot better than this place.

Save your time, save...

Walking by, I thought I’d pop in for a milkshake as it was a really hot evening. if you like a nutty/peanut butter flavoured milkshake, I have to say that Archies Holly Oaks milkshake is probably the best I’ve had from anywhere in the uk. The restaurant was nicely kitted out but seemed to lack atmosphere as there were only a few customers inside and they were all in corners of the restaurant sitting quietly. Service was slick via the touch screen ordering stations on arrival but staff preparing and handing out the food aren’t very engaging and don’t look like they want to be there. Noticeable, as everywhere else I’ve been served in this area I’ve been greeted really warmly and service staff try to be friendly. Lastly, large paper straws for milkshakes do not work. You need to use plastic or metal straws as customers have to wait for the ice cream to melt in the milkshake before it’s drinkable or struggle sucking ice cream up a flimsy paper straw straight away before the straw starts getting soggy which doesn’t work. I had to ask for extra straws to use later once the ice cream had melted. Didn’t get anything else as it was just a passing visit for a drink.

My Husband picked up some food from Archies on his way home a few nights ago. It was situated outside of Piccadilly train station within the Row of Shops coming down from the Main Entrance. He did comment on how busy it was inside but that is usually a good sign for me as it shows the Food is in Demand. It was Midnight and there was still dine-in available which is Fantastic! It stays open till around 2am. Even though it was Busy, he got our Food within 15 Minutes and it was all piping hot when he got home. I ordered the Sweet Alabama burger which was Divine and the Naughty Nas Shake as I just love an Oreo Shake and it hit the spot! My son got the Mac & Cheese Bites, Tater Tots & a Cookies & Creme Shake and he finished everything (which he usually doesn't). I would 100% recommend the Naughty Nas Shake and the Sweet Alabama Burger, even the Cheese Fries looked Amazing. I can't wait to go in for a Late Night Meal and feel the Buzz in Person.

In Manchester, Piccadilly was quite chaotic. We stumbled upon a burger 🍔 and milkshake 🥤 restaurant, where a friendly Hong Kong employee, who's been in the UK since the age of three, warmly welcomed us 🤩. They mentioned that many KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) visit because the second floor has a pink 💞 ball pit and swings, which drive the crazy kids to scream with excitement 😱🤣, though it wasn't open at the time 😞. We had burgers, fries, a wrap, and milkshakes. Each item was made to order and really delicious. Even the ketchup was fancier than usual 😍! The crazy kids said they felt extremely welcome in the UK 🥰🤗. After a couple of days, they kept asking when we could go back again 😜. I will definitely return! 😊 more photos at IG/FB: @crazykidsmamashopping
