Burgerbox - Longsight — Restaurant in Manchester

1st time trying this place after seeing a YouTube review and here my honest opinion

Service was ok took nearly 20 mins even though it wasn't that busy Shop is spacious ans clean

spicy chicken burger 7/10 Not as good as shake bee miami etc it's a little bit above average I like that they toast the bun and wrap it in paper then a box however the chicken wasn't as succulent as other places and spice was on the mild side even tho some people say its VERY spicy. I think the mayonnaise in the burger needs improvement .

Peri burger 6/10 Very very average ,maybe slighty below average , very thin chicken fillet too (the picture i added was the thickest part but the other side was like a pancake) and the peri sauce imo was bland , it tasted like mild peri sauce thats been diluted further in water to make it even more mild.

Beef burger 8/10 Out of all tge burger this was the best out of the bunch , very similar to a smashed burger HOWEVER again taste wise it was just above average ,so many other places do them better , also it was luke warm which I found strange , I'm not sure if they make them in big batches then add them to a bun once order is placed because it definitely didn't taste like it was just made.

Steak and rice 4/10 Was expecting for £9 to be getting a big box like what they show on there menu but it was small/medium, the box had 80% rice 15% steak 5%salad (just check the picture I taken ,the steak layer you see on top of rice is all you get and 2 inches of rice below) felt robbed to be honest needs alot more steak becuase the steak actually tastes amazing , if the portion was in a bigger rectangle bix that on there menu with 50% rice 40% steak 10% salad then I'd easily give it 10/10

Would i go again....? maybe....I prob will try them again after some time to see if they change I will report back and...

A very convenient location in longsight on Stockport road as well....right opposite the Barclays Bank

The burgers are extraordinary

The spicy chicken burgers are the best and are dipped in thier secret unique spicy sauce

It's a very unique blend and a very good spicy kick in the sauce

The cheese burgers are amazing and fresh as they are gourmet made.

I had one today and was expe6a quarter pounder which is very common in takeaways

The proved me wrong!! They served me a fresh gourmet burger.

It was the best cheese burger I've ever had. Made with love and passion as well

Burger box originally only had one location in fallowfield on wilbrahim road

It's still there today

But it's a little out of the way

The Stockport road one is much better as it's on the way to work

Also,car parking is free around the corner....if ya get there fast enough lol 😂

Also,the pricing is very reasonable as well. A meal is usually under £10 as well. They even have a twin box meal for £9 if ya can...

I have been a loyal customer for some time and have always enjoyed your food. However, during my recent visit, I encountered an issue that I wanted to bring to your attention.

I called ahead to place my order and was told it would be ready for pickup by the time I arrived. Unfortunately, when I got there, the order wasn't prepared, and I had to wait longer than expected. This has happened a couple of times now, and I believe it's an area that could be improved.
