Deens Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Manchester

I typically like to order fries and cheese burgers. This is just common place for me, and I never had any problems until recently, which was today and last week. Today, the man gave me two peri peri fries, (which is right and what I asked for) but he gave me one mini chicken burger, (which was wrong as I asked for a CHEESE burger, not a chicken burger). And like I said before, this isn't the first time either as the SAME person did the same thing last week too! I hate chicken burgers!

There was this other dude that works there that NEVER got my order wrong, but the dude with the grey hair and brown skin keeps getting my order wrong. I said I didn't want a cheese burger MEAL and would rather have a MINI cheese burger and fries as seperate commodities, (because I wanted to save money), so maybe he was just confused? However, this is the SECOND time that this happened, with the SAME person.

On a postive note, their peri peri fries are really nice and I don't know any other place in Longsight that sells fries like theirs. Their cheeseburgers are also really nice and affordable, but it's a shame that I was given chicken burgers TWICE on TWO SEPERATE occassions, when I asked for cheeseburgers.

Lastly, the "ABOUT'" regarding payment is inaccurate and NEEDS to be changed as they only accept cash or DIRECT bank transfer. I doubt they even have a debit/credit card machine on...

The place was empty when I went in. I didn't get any acknowledgement or service. Another guy walked in after me he was served straight away.

I then still had to wait around till finally I was served. They never had the dipped chicken burger.... They never had the spicy chicken burger... strange for a chicken joint in Manchester not to have either of these.

Ordered the chicken burger meal...

I was expecting a take out.. instead I was given an eat in on a tray... bit strange.... and I wasn't asked if I am eating in.

Was given a drink in a cup but no straw... had to get one later.

The burger itself looked a bit dull, as in the colour and consistency of the batter looked nothing like what they show in their social media videos... The meat was cooked well and looked fresh enough.. Taste wise it was ok. But the bun was soggy and stretchy maybe it's been steamed or steamed several times...

Fries were OK..

I wasn't happy with the huge fly buzzing around me the whole time I was there...

It's a cash only joint so be sure to have cash on hand.

They have another branch in Trafford which apparently does better, bigger burgers and the dipped burgers...which is 15 minutes drive away... it is strange how different branch's of the same shop have such variety I'm their menu...

Avoid at all costs – appalling service and terrible food!

I ordered peri peri wrap meals and PAID for peri peri wrap meals, only to receive plain, bland chicken wraps instead. When I called to address THEIR mistake, I was met with sheer arrogance and rudeness. The obnoxious man on the phone had the audacity to say, “Next time, don’t send your child in to order.” Excuse me? Since when does an adult need to be present to order fast food? Absolutely disgraceful.

Not only is the customer service shocking, but the food quality is just as bad—dry, tasteless, and clearly thrown together with no care. Given their attitude, I wouldn’t trust their hygiene standards either. Miserable, rude staff who clearly have no idea how to run a business.

Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers. This place doesn’t deserve a...
