I went there twice, first with a group of 6, and then 8 pax. There were outdoor tables, but we sat indoors. The overall experience was wonderful. The restaurant also offered halal meat, but please do ask for availability (we were told only the lasagna was not halal). Food: The food was DELICIOUS. They even came to ask if anyone needed extra black pepper and cheese, which they grounded and grated by request. I did get to try what everyone else ordered, so I have them listed down below (the first was mine): - Ravioli Aragosta (a bit spicy for me, but definitely not spicy at all for the Asians in our group. The portion was also visibly smaller than the rest, perfect for those with a smaller appetite) - Spaghetti Carbonara (I asked them to remove pancetti, and add chicken pieces. The chicken was a tad dry though.) - Minestrone - Pappardelle Polpette (juicy meatballs) - Rigatoni Italiana - Salmone Adriatico (Salmon was cooked just nice. The second time there, they were out of salmon and they substituted with seabass, it was just as good) - Stinco di Agnello (a bit too lamby for my taste, but everyone else loved it) I think there's options for everyone, depending on their taste, so this place worked amazing for our group, so we went there twice:) Service: Staff was helpful and friendly. The manager (I assumed) did his best to accommodate us, and even the waiter & waitress was tiptop (shout out to Soukayna for being so helpful with her suggestions and wittiness entertaining us).

Cibo is running an August 50% offer on food. Great until you receive the bill. Ordered 3 Chateaubriand and charged us 6x£10 supplement. The dessert charged at full price without 50% off. There was mold on the fresh fruit in the cocktail. The starters came more than 1hr late. Including one starter which took longer than a football match plus extra time to arrive. This was even after we pre ordered the food days in advance on request by the Manager. The Pate felt like fine sand in the mouth. The dipping sauce come in 1 tiny teaspoon size servings. The Chateaubriand at £60 original ticket price was cooked to perfection but the texture was like a cheap rump steak from your local pub steak night. The dessert platter was missing the profiteroles. On confronting the Manager about the bill, he said the Chateaubriand supplement was a mistake it should be 3x£10. But the dessert is not included in the 50% offer as the dessert menu is separate from the Ala Carte menu. So dessert is not food everyone. Enjoy your time at Cibo where service is slow, the fruit is moldy, the fillet steak taste like rump, and the dessert is not considered food. We didn't even notice the bill didn't get 50% off for the pizza that came after 1.5hrs late until the next day. Antonio the Manager. Hats off to you for getting everything that can go wrong, go wrong in exceptionally bad manner. Brilliant. Thanks for spoiling our birthday gathering to the max.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Italiana Fifty Five, and the experience was made extraordinary by our waitress, Dana. From the moment we were seated, Dana's exceptional communication skills and her warm, welcoming demeanor stood out. She effortlessly guided us through the menu, providing detailed descriptions and personalized recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Dana's attentiveness and timing were impeccable. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that our meal progressed smoothly. Her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her job were evident in every interaction, making us feel valued and well cared for. What truly sets Dana apart is her ability to create a memorable dining experience. She struck the perfect balance between being professional and personable, making us feel like honored guests. Her attention to detail, from remembering our names to noting our dietary preferences, was nothing short of impressive. In all my dining experiences, Dana stands out as the most amazing waitress I've ever encountered. Italiana Fifty Five is fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented individual on their team. If you dine here, ask for Dana – she will elevate your meal to an unforgettable experience. Five stars all the way!

Visited here for a special occasion which was completely ruined. We contacted the restaurant asking to book a table of 10 as a surprise, the restaurant asked for a pre-order which was fine and said the two who weren’t aware of the surprise could order on the day.

When we got the restaurant it took it took over an hour for our starters to arrive. Two arrived at first, then 20 minutes later the rest arrived which meant we were all eating at different times. We asked twice about the starters and were told 4 minutes and asked again and told another 8. (I don’t think they really knew)

There was another table next to us of around 8 people who were also complaining as they had waited over an hour for starters too. The waiting staff were lovely but seemed new and lack organisation. We didn’t have one waiter, but instead seemed to have to flag people down as they walked past and nobody checked up on us and they wouldn’t communicate with each other meaning we were asking for things several times before they would be brought.

Our mains arrived quickly after our starters and were wrong except one, they took the meals away double checked our order and brought the correct meals out but the rigatoni italia was without chicken, the arabatta was also without chicken - we ate the meals as we were hungry and didn’t want to wait any longer. We also did not have cutlery on our table for our starters or our mains and we asked several times for cutlery for our mains and this took a while for us to be able to begin eating.

When they brought the bill, they forgot to take off our £100 deposit and didn’t comp our food until we complained. The manager apologised at the end and said there was on staff member down in the kitchen but the whole team (bar/waiting/kitchen) lacked any organisation or...
