Review: La Vie Café Deansgate - A Delightful Culinary Haven
La Vie Café Deansgate is a gem in the heart of the city, offering an exquisite dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. My recent visit was nothing short of outstanding, and I am already looking forward to my next meal there.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Full English breakfast. Every component was cooked to perfection, from the succulent sausages and crispy halal turkey bacon to the creamy scrambled eggs and savory mushrooms. The addition of perfectly grilled tomatoes and golden hash browns rounded out this classic dish, making it an exceptional start to the day.
Adding to the allure, La Vie Café boasts an extensive variety of cakes and desserts that cater to every sweet tooth. From rich chocolate creations to delicate pastries, the dessert selection is a true indulgence. A must-try is the French Pistachio Toast, a delightful fusion of flavors that is both unique and utterly delicious.
The décor of La Vie Café adds another layer of charm to the experience. With a sophisticated aesthetic reminiscent of Dubai, the café exudes a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The elegant interiors, coupled with the friendly and attentive staff, make for a dining environment that is both comfortable and stylish.
One of the standout features of La Vie Café is that it is entirely HALAL, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their delicious offerings with peace of mind.
In summary, La Vie Café Deansgate offers not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast or simply a relaxing coffee paired with one of their exquisite desserts, this café is a must-visit. The excellent Full English breakfast, extensive cake variety, Dubai-like decor, and HALAL food will surely make you a...
Read moreMy spouse and I went to this café for Valentine's Day, hoping for a nice experience. The café was packed, and there were no available seats. We asked if we could reserve a table, and the cashier said, "Of course, but you need to check with my colleague." We specifically requested to reserve the small two-person table by the wall, and they confirmed that it was possible.
We asked about the earliest available reservation, and they told us, "In 20 minutes!" So, we made the reservation and let them know we’d take a short walk nearby and be back exactly on time. The staff even warned us that they would only hold the table for 15 minutes if we were late, to which we assured them we’d return in 20 minutes, no later.
However, when we came back right on time, we were shocked to find that they had given our table to someone else! When we asked why, they simply shrugged and said, "Sorry, it's a busy day!" no explanation—just complete indifference.
We are regular customers, and we spent 20 minutes walking in the cold on Valentine’s Day just to sit at our usual table—only to have our time completely wasted. It's understandable that Valentine's Day is busy, but misleading customers and showing zero respect for their time is unacceptable. This experience turned what should have been a special evening into a frustrating and disappointing one. We won’t be...
Read moreFirst time here and it was good. Wouldn't recommend coming later on towards the night due to availability of certain dishes.
We specifically came in for the Baklava with the pistachio ice cream. However, we were told there wasn't any of the ice cream left. There was the odd few flavours available but we were told they're pretty much melted so they can't serve them which was disappointed.
So we opted for the Baklava on its own along with a Spanish latte and a few other lattes. The Baklava itself was very good, tasted perfect. Wasn't too sweet and sickly like others and the latte was also good
Presentation of both dishes were great and it was expected as the place itself looked really good.
Atmosphere around the place is very good with seating also outside the cafe. The interior, the lighting is spot on and in general the cafe is attractive. Alot of seating available but only downside is its very cramped so its hard to get in and out of your seat without banging into someone.
Overall, a nice place to come down to and I would comeback again to try other dishes.
POSITIVES - ▪︎ Interior And Lighting Is Attractive ▪︎ Presentation Of Dishes ▪︎ Quality Seating/Tables/Cutlery
NEGATIVES - ▪︎ Expensive ▪︎ Seating Too Close By Eachother/Cramped ▪︎ Parking (Payed...
