Visited last night for their Opening Night with a friend, greeted very well by the door men enquired whether we were on the guest list or not which we were and advised to mention Reception. Once in down the spiralling stairs (making sure that you keep to one side!!) greeted by the young lady at reception and mentioned that we were on the guest list and was told just to go through!!. Couldn't quite understand the point of advertising if you wanted to be on Guest List to email through date of attending and how many will be in your party. I did receive a very prompt response next day confirming "looking forward to seeing you there". Good atmosphere, music (could do with just lowering a touch for the size of the area....but hey that might be just down to age!!), surroundings, Security very unobtrusive (an incident did take place and the two guys dealt with it very well, you would not have noticed if you were not sat 'people watching'....very friendly bar staff... Staff very friendly even the floor staff came over and introduced themselves with a friendly handshake and asked whether we were enjoying the night...regarding the cocktails more than enough to choose from if you're a drinker; even though my friend and I do not drink this is one of the better menus (still room for more though!) that I have seen for 'non-drinkers' for a long time. We did plan on working our way through them all seeing as we did peruse the menu for the last few weeks but only managed a few...... save the others for the next visit.. All in all, we had a good night and definitely would recommend... even stayed out longer than we...

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

We came here on NYE as they opened. It was very quiet anyway but did make a table booking. When we arrived, the security asked for the name of the booking and took us to our table which was much smaller than our party so the security suggested sitting on a different table without reservation cards. After enjoying our first drinks, a short haired female member of staff slapped a reservation card on the table and told us we had to move. We explained we had a booking and she told us we would have to move before the next reservation despite us being told to sit her by a member of staff.

This is completely understandable but the way she spoke to the party was unwelcoming, unfriendly and honestly unprofessional. We were sat here by a member of staff and were treated like we were flouting the rules. I want to be honest and she was horrible to us with no customer service.

It was later explained by a much nicer member of management that when you book a table, you actually book for 30% of your party. So we had a table of 4 for almost twice the size. Worth bearing in mind if you’re booking larger tables on busy nights.

The 2 bar tenders (in dicky bow and waistcoat) were stellar and a credit to the bar. It was a shame that this one member of staff completely let down the rest of the enthusiastic team by being so confrontational.

I don’t know what was wrong with this member of staff but we won’t be visiting again as it’s left us with such a negative experience. There was no reason to speak to us the way she did and I hope she improves her...

When strolling down Deansgate on a sunny Saturday afternoon we could hear the base of Benny Benasi, we thought it was coming from an apartment, or a car but no, it was this place. We walked in receiving big smiles from the guys on the door. The place is very long, we carried on walking to the bottom. Next thing we're on a kind of dance floor dancing and singing like it's a NYE party in full flow. Bare in mind it's only 4pm on a Saturday! Atmosphere was amazing, everyone enjoying themselves including the bar staff, lights going on and off to keep the party atmosphere going, bar staff launching crushed ice into air, sticking umbrellas up when "it's raining men" came on with even more crushed ice flying around. Busy but bar staff were great, cocktails were good. And even better, there is happy hour 12-6 on a Saturday! Plenty of seats too at the back and more towards the front. If want to go for a quiet drink I don't think this is for you, but if you want to have a laugh and let your hair down you need to attend this place. 100% will be returning when next in the city centre. If going just to attend here I think it would be worth booking a table via their website. Credit to the bar staff they definitely make this place how...
