Cosmo was a surprising experience, in a good way! Let's get into it... Expectations of buffets are usually low, it's hard to provide top quality taste and food when juggling all different cuisines but Cosmo does it fairly well. The restaurant has a lift to access the first floor where the seating is located so it is wheelchair friendly. On arrival you'll be seated and asked what drinks you want, then you're good to set off and collect a plate and fill her up. There are a lot of choices and obviously too much to try it all, but will break down what I had and the photos provided. Potato curry - excellent authentic taste, has that takeaway warming taste of good flavours. Korma curry - quite poor, was more like a microwave meal, creamy and runny but no strength in the taste, not at all like your takeaway curry or Indian restaurant. I'd be surprised if it had cashews in the korma paste used. It's enjoyable as food, but it's not a quality korma by any means Duck pancake - less crispy duck, more shredded and soft, but still enjoyable. Not certain if the hoisin was hoisin, it seemed more like plum sauce to me which isn't a problem especially considering it's a buffet. Ribs - these were as expected really, similar to most takeaway type of ribs, no complaints here. Hong Kong chicken - was nice, had a thicker sauce which was heavy and tasteful, I enjoyed it wish I had more! The Singapore noodles and egg rice were good, enjoyable, not bad quality. Pizza - is made fresh in front of you, it's fairly basic dough and base, the sauce is okay, the toppings I felt weren't too great, it's not terrible but it's not anything special either. I'd still have another slice. Teppanyaki - cooked fresh in front of you, a choice of squid rings, scallops, beef, chicken, gyoza. I had the beef, was very nice, would go back and have more of this, scallops were nice, but I was cautious eating them, no sickness though since we went so all good! The chicken gyoza were great, I forgot to get a picture but they were really good Desert - chocolate ice cream was quite poor, basic and wasn't worth eating. But the soft serve ice cream was fantastic, just the same as a Mr whippy and brought back childhood memories, I had two. The chocolate fountain is nice, we filled the ice cream cone with it and had the chocolate as a drink, but it was a bit acidic when it shouldn't be. What happens after you eat a lot of food? Nature, Of course. This was the most disappointing part of the whole experience. The toilets were neglected and awful. 2 cubicles, 1 toilet didn't even flush properly and was blocked. The second toilet didn't even have a toilet seat on it. These standards were unacceptable and unusable which really is extremely poor on the restaurant. Technically they should not even be operating without a usable toilet facility as the legislation states if there are over 10 seats (which this restaurant massively exceeds) there must be toilet facilities. Useable ones not blocked, broken flush, missing seat. If the restaurant feels they are usable then this is disgusting and filthy standards to impose on diners. The toilets were also unchecked Sunday, we left at 3pm and photo was taken then. Overall, we did have a good time, and would come back to try the dishes we missed out on and for the cheap cost. It is very affordable for what is on offer at £21 for the buffet.

I'll start from the beginning, we were met with unfortunate traffic jam due to a crash occuring ahead of us nothing to do but wait till they cleared it. So we rang the restuarant to let them know we will be late, but 30 minutes on the line and nobody still answers all while the automated message says your call is important to us, clearly it wasn't, nobody answered it went straight to voicemail, we tried on 3 different phones and nobody answered. At this point we were now late by about 30 mins so we just got there and went inside and told them. It took a good 5 minutes for them to get us a table even though it wasn't busy there was plenty of empty seats. First we were sat down, then they moved us all after 5 minutes of sitting down saying the section they put us in was closed. The staff were quite friendly i can't say nothing bad about the staff they were very nice. Especially the lady who sat us down. Ok so after we sit down payment is taken however a service charge is added which is optional however was forced up us which wasn't expected, how can we possibly pay for service if we havent experienced anything yet. Even though the service charge was charged, we never got any good service. Plates were stacked up all over the table nobody cleared our table, they came once right at the end before we was leaving, what about the rest of the time, people were constantly clearing other tables, so it was just poor service overall, i am very dissapointed. Now lets get onto the drinks, every single glass given was very dirty, i was disgusted, if i fall ill i know why i will have, please use a damn dishwasher and tablet to clean and then hand dry them. The glasses also smelt of fish, that dirty smell where if you don't wash them properly. It was horrible. Just this alone put me off the rest of the meal. Now the food itself wasn't bad at all apart from the steak the chef cut, was too dry and no taste, needs proper seasoning and put in some sauce to marinate while cooking. I looked around there was a lot of food wastage on every table probably due to the fact a lot of the food went stale like the nuggets were rock hard, popadoms were very soggy from being on the heat all day. Ok my next issue was the food plates also being dirty, the cutlery wasn't too dirty which was shocking as everything else was dirty. The other thing is the food choices were extremly limited, especially the desserts section, the desserts was one of the poorest selections i ever seen on a buffet. Overall i won't be coming back here again, too many wrongs here were theres better food places just around the corner. One last thing the staff were very friendly and nice, i have nothing bad to say about any of them apart from the poor service. The manager has a very nice suit too :p, the place itself is very nice decor and beautiful design, its just a shame it is being ran so poorly, this isn't my first visit here i did come here years ago when you first opened and everything was a lot better then, so i do remember this place at its best, so to say its fallen this hard its just sad.

My experience at COSMO All You Can Eat in Manchester was extremely disappointing, to say the least. The service was subpar right from the beginning. With only an hour to eat, we were already pressed for time, yet the lady at reception completely ignored us for a good five minutes while she gossiped with her colleague. When she finally acknowledged us, she curtly informed us, "You only have less than an hour to eat, just to let you know." Perhaps if she had attended to us promptly, we could have used those precious minutes more effectively. The poor service continued as we were led to our table. The girl who showed us our seat simply pointed to the other side of the dining area and said, "There’s your seat," before disappearing. This left us confused and wandering around trying to figure out which table was ours. This level of unprofessionalism was unacceptable and frustrating. Despite arriving hours before closing, which was the last booking slot available, there was hardly any food left. All the dishes were empty, and the desserts section was a complete wasteland with only a few stale cakes available. The ice cream had no toppings- not even sprinkles! And the profiteroles were warm and sour. One would expect that even in the later hours, there would be enough food to cater to the guests who book these slots, but clearly, this was not the case. There was also a horrible smell in the waiting area, it smelt like sewages which made me feel sick just before eating. Overall, the waitresses were rude and unwelcoming, adding to the negative experience. I would not recommend COSMO All You Can Eat in Manchester to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. The poor service, lack of food, and overall unprofessionalism make it a place to avoid. Wish I could rate -1 for stars.

Poor quality of food taste. Their chefs cannot cook authentic asian dishes and possibly dont know about how to cook it. It was like they cook something randomly and just pretend that it is some country's food For example they cook fried rice with chili and soy sauce and they name it "thai fried rice" how did it possible? As far as i know i am from Thailand and there is no such a thing in my country. Another case was indian curries, last time i brought my indian friends to go there he said the curry is not a curry and the taste is not even close to the real indian curry. Same goes to the case of chinese food, they just stir fry something and put the chinese sauce without knowing how to use that sauce. This is an A-graded restaurant, have you ever spent time researching about those food? And the food storage system is poor too, they didnt stock the food or refill the food that was gone immediately (they left that area empty for about a half an hour and didnt replace with anything new) Service system is also flawed, there are lots of waitors and waitresses but they stand consistently in just one place one zone, but the restaurant is so big and broad how can they provide a good service to customers in a needed time? Also they have an underqualified (and dismanagement) booking system. On the phone they said we dont need to book and can just walk-in but when we arrived they said we need to wait for the table as no table available for that time yet. The cake zone is diverse and somehow tastes good so it was the only acceptable thing in this restaurant.

Don't waste your time and money coming here if you want to get starred or laughed at by numbties or deal with a cocky manager when you try and ask them something. FELT SICK AFTER EATING THIS.. This family ( in the picture) were none stop starring at us and harrasing us while we were trying to eat we were not doing anything litterally just relaxing and enjoying our meal. One of them decided to shove their phone in my disabled sisters face and I don't mean like 3 steps away FULLY CLOSEE UP to her face they cpuld of probably touched her face if they qent any closer.. so anyway they took a picture of her when i went up to get my food while she was eating for NO REASON. After we reported them to the manager they said they didn't want to do anything about it and he had a very rude and arrogant tone about him making fun of the situation as I was trying to explain to him. He did not want to do anything about it not even bothering to tell them not to take pictures of others so we just left. Take this review seriously if you are thinking of going here been here more then once and there's always a problem whether it's food or people the food isn't even as good just go tops £60 quid wasted

Expected more from this restaurant, it was promising but we left feeling like we paid way too much for what we ate. Options were very limited so not good for picky eaters at all and food tasted a little bland. I’m not even fussy but found myself disappointed with the lack of variety. The duck pancakes were delicious though! ☺️ Tables are very cramped together, we were sat in the middle of the walkway between booth tables and it was a little uncomfortable to be honest. People constantly up and down on both sides of us. Very busy with odd layout so it’s difficult to find the food you like and actually get to it. We also felt rushed with the 1 hour time limit we were told we had on our reservation. Especially since it took the waiters at least 10 minutes to take our payment so we could start eating. The water glasses are refillable but are absolutely tiny, meaning we had to refill them every time we got up for food, very inconvenient.
