Waffle Island — Restaurant in Manchester

My oh my, these waffles were unusual and special! The texture is something ethereal that's unlike anything i have had before.  The waffles are so crisp and light as a feather.  When you bite into it, you get that sharp crispness that practically shatters but it isn't harsh or rough...and the waffles just melt in your mouth. There are a variety to choose from they also they do creps, milkshakes,cakes and Belgian waffles. The design on the waffles are amazing and look outstanding. Also i love the decoration in the shop with the flowers,very eye-catching and beautiful. The staff are kind,genuine and helpful and they always have a smile on there face whitch is lovely to see. GREAT STAFF. I would highly recommend people to come to waffle Island in arndale as my experience there was great and I would 100% be going to visit again as a thurely enjoyed my waffle...

Although I have to admit, the waffle cone was extremly delicious along side the shake, the service was an absulte let down 😔 It felt as though I was talking to an answering machine, with no replies back, instead they just kept conversing with their co-worker. It felt super awkward just standing there waiting, and considering they weren't at all busy, they should have really took the time to be friendly with their customer. Overall, the food was amazing but the service was appalling. I would come again, but I don't want to risk another awkward silence between me and the staff member!
