KFC Milton Keynes - The Centre:MK — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

I’m not one to write bad reviews but this was an appalling experience. I went here for the first time on Saturday 15th December 2018 in the evening and although it was a little busy, I would by no means describe it as packed (I have seen other places far busier and with better service). I have been to various KFC’s at different times, both busy and quite, and although not perfect, my experience hasn’t been too bad. After entering and spending a few minutes discussing what we want to eat, we made our way to the counter, where there was no queue, to order (we didn’t want to use the machines as you can not put in specific orders). All the staff were busy preparing other orders from the machines for collection which wasn’t much of a problem although I feel there should have at least been one staff member on the tills should anyone want to order. What was a problem however, was standing at the empty counter for over 10 minutes with staff blatantly seeing and ignoring me and my dad. The queue behind us started to build up and still no service. Eventually my mum came in having not previously been with us and after a couple more minutes of waiting, she asked a staff member if anyone was serving to which the staff member then came to the counter and started to take people’s orders. Upon arriving home, we opened the food up to see they had got the order a bit wrong (whilst I tend to check the order at the restaurant to make sure it’s all correct, I was fed up of being in there and wanted to get out ASAP). I understand that the restaurant has been open for just a week, but I feel like staff should definitely have been trained better to not ignore paying customers wanting to buy food. I will give this place another chance after Christmas once hopefully the staff have a bit more experience and training, however on this occasion, I was less than impressed by this...

This KFC is not even worth one star. It is applauing, go somewhere else for lunch or dinner. You have to wait over 20-30 minutes for your food, the staff need a course in customer service and really don't care if your food is late or wrong. My order came to £40+ I waited 30 minutes and the order was still wrong, when I questioned the order I was told oh we ran out, but there was no offer of an alternative or a refund. I had to say I wanted a refund and the person in charge said ' no the item was part of the side order anyway' when I insisted and pointed out I paid extra ...I was reluctantly given a refund but my order was actually missing items. The staff need to be trained, an adult needs to be present and running the restaurant to kick the staff up the arse and deal with situations. PLEASE Aviod this restaurant and spend your money elsewhere otherwise you will be...

Been there tonight second time, service had gone down hill. You are selling chicken only and had to wait over 20 min for my order. Staff has don't care attitude not wearing face masks properly. When asked how long my order is gona be, reply was its ready and still another 5 minutes. I was given 4 portion of chips for 2 orders when asked why the young lady replied without any empathy because you had to wait for your order. I thought it was mistake anyways told her don't want it and please take them out hut she ignored me and start talking to another customer. I ended up removing extra chips myself and got dirty look from the lady.
