I went here for the first time and honestly, I was really disappointed. I grew up listening to country music, so I had high hopes, but this just wasn’t it. I expected real country vibes, especially based on how it's presented on social media. Instead, it was a guy singing country songs, indie-style. The singing style is what makes country music country and this wasn't grasped at all.

What makes country music special is that it’s got grit, soul, and a rhythm that makes you want to dance. But here there was no country energy. Just sounded like other acoustic sets you hear in any other bar in Newcastle. I wasn’t the only one who thought so, others around me were saying how underwhelming it was too.

It’s a shame, because the place has real potential. With the right acts and a genuine country vibe, it could be something great....

From the moment I stepped in, it was clear how much love and attention to detail had gone into crafting the authentic country-style atmosphere. It felt like a slice of Nashville had been dropped right into the heart of Newcastle!

The entertainment was top-tier: a stunning live vocalist whose voice captivated the crowd and created a truly intimate vibe, followed by a DJ who kept the country spirit alive, spinning tunes and taking requests with seamless energy.

Didn’t actually get to have a drink. It was far too loud inside (music blaring through the speakers) so we tried to go to the outside bit, only to be told that they don’t do cocktails outside and you can’t take drinks across from the bar to the outside area and vice versa.
